***Healthy Lemon Rosemary Marinated Halibut

This marinade is delicious for chicken as well as your favorite types of fish and shellfish.
Marinade: 2 tablespoons dry white w 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemaryrn¼ teaspoon saltrn¼ teaspoons freshly ground black pepperrn½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
1pound halibut fillets, or any firm white fish, cut into 4ounce portions
Preparation For Marinade: • To make the marinade combine the wine, lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, salt, pepper and onion powder in a shallow dish large enough to hold the fish in 1 layer. Stir ingredients.r
• Place the fish fillets in the marinade turning, to coat both sides.
• Cover tightly and allow marinating in the refrigerator for several hours, turning the fillets over several times.
Prepare a Grill or preheat the boiler. • Coat a piece of foil large enough to hold the fish with non-stick cooking spray.r
• With a skewer, poke holes in the foil every few inches.
• Place the foil on a grill or broiler pan 4 to 6 inches from the hot coals or heat.r
• Remove the fillets from the marinade and place on the foil and grill or broil for about 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, or until the desired amount of doneness when cut.
