2. When you have the desire to snack on something you should look for pre-packed snacks. For example, small portioned healthy snacks. This will stop you from being able to over eat the snacks. It is common for a person to have a snack while watching a movie and not realize they ate the entire bag of popcorn. To avoid this, purchase snacks that are in 100 calorie packages.
3. Chewing gum is a great way to stop yourself from eating out of boredom or habit. You should buy a pack of sugarless gum and carry it with you at all times. This will help you when you have a craving or desire for something sweet.
4. Try drinking something that is hot when you have a craving for something or you simply want something because you are board, upset or stressed out. When the beverage is hot you are forced to drink it slowly, there fore you are able to completely enjoy the flavor and satisfy your hankering at the same time. If possible, you should definitely try to only have low calorie hot beverages.
5. Adding salsa to some of your meals will increase the flavor without having to drastically add to the calorie count.
As you can see, although dieting can make you feel left out in many cases, all you need is a little creativity and you can enjoy your diet. Healthy weight loss food can have flavor that you enjoy, the key is making the flavor really pop for you. Some spices you might not have ever considered adding to your meals can add just the right amount of flavor to your diet foods.
