Respiratory ailments are particularly troublesome. When you aren't breathing well, your entire body is affected. Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchi, which are the medium-size airways in the lungs. Often, bronchitis can develop as you're getting over a cold and your immune system is weakened. Drinking an herbal tea blended from olive leaves, St John's Wort, Black Walnut Hulls, White Oak Bark and other ingredients will serve two purposes. The warm tea soothes and comforts, while the natural blend helps strengthen your immune system allowing you to fight the infection in your body.
When bronchitis develops the airways become inflamed and a colored mucus can be produced in large amounts. Depending upon how healthy the lungs are, it can be difficult to expel the mucus, especially if it becomes extremely thick. If this colored mucus continues for three months out of a year for two consecutive years, the diagnosis changes to chronic bronchitis. It's very important to keep the mucus as thin as possible to make it easy to expel. A blend of mullein leaves, capsicum and fenugreek is a safe, effective formula that will help in the thinning of the mucus.
Chronic bronchitis is not caused by infection. Infection does, however, seem to be responsible for the bronchitis lingering. Chronic bronchitis is caused by irritants such as dust, air pollution and the major cause, smoking. Even single cases of bronchitis can develop into pneumonia in the elderly, the very young, smokers and those with chronic respiratory disorders or heart conditions. Continuing to smoke with chronic bronchitis puts you at a higher risk for developing lung cancer than smokers who do not have chronic bronchitis. There is a safe and natural treatment to aid you in your quest to be a non-smoker that does not use nicotine. This formula which includes fenugreek, magnolia, echinacea, licorice, chamomile and several other effective herbs will help you kick the habit.
Pneumonia can sometimes be difficult to diagnose because the symptoms, cough and fever, are often similar to a cold or the flu. A common symptom of many types of pneumonia is chest pain which can, in some people, radiate through to their back. But the symptoms are many, depending upon the cause of pneumonia and the overall health of the individual. There's bacterial pneumonia which can come on suddenly with fever, shortness of breath, thick phlegm producing cough and chest pain and is often only in one area of the lung. The viral type of pneumonia begins with a dry cough, headache and fever, along with muscle pain and fatigue, also not unlike the flu. As it progresses phlegm may develop, but it will be clear or white and only in small amounts. You could also develop a secondary bacterial pneumonia. Mycoplasma is a tiny organism and symptoms are similar to the others, but come on gradually. Symptoms can be so mild, you may not even know you have pneumonia, that's why it's called Walking Pneumonia. It's important to keep the lungs lubricated and toned with an herbal remedy that will rejuvenate them and the entire respiratory system.
