Human growth hormone does much more than just help the body grow. This master hormone is really a jack-of-all-trades, helping to build and repair the immune system, all the major organs, the bones and the muscles. It is likely that HGH plays a role in the overall functioning of the human body that even goes beyond current understanding, including playing a role in shaping and maintaining myriad biological systems and subsystems.
But as the saying goes: All good things must come to an end. While HGH vitalizes the body as it grows it cannot last forever. Unfortunately the pituitary gland in the brain eventually begins to lose steam, and its ability to produce human growth hormone for use in the body starts declining at about the age of 30. HGH levels drop continuously as a person ages, to the point where HGH production basically stops altogether in the later years of life.
But in this case, the relationship between cause and effect is tangled and complex. Rather than simply being a matter of aging causing a reduction in HGH, it is this reduction in HGH that is intricately involved in bringing on many of the effects we associate with the process of aging.
Pay Close Attention to the Little Man Behind the Curtain
When we are young and in our prime, the systems of our bodies run smoothly and efficiently. While we may not realize it, it is human growth hormone that is operating behind the scenes here, pulling the strings from behind the curtain of a lively, energetic body. When HGH production declines, our health tends to start declining at the same time, and this is most certainly not a coincidence.
In 1990, there was a study published in the New England journal of Medicine that looked at the effects of HGH injections on men past the age of 60. After six months of giving his patients HGH treatments, the author of the study concluded that regular doses of HGH had turned back the clock 10 to 20 years for these men, based on the results of their physical exams. While this has not really been followed up with a lot of controlled studies, there are now clinics all across the country providing HGH injections for those who are looking to reverse the process of aging in their bodies.
The anecdotal evidence collected from those who have gone through these treatments seems to indicate that HGH can indeed restore health and turn back the clock in at least some instances. While mainstream medical science officially declares itself deeply skeptical of these reports, the fact remains that real people are claiming that HGH really is the key to reversing the aging process, based on their own personal experiences.
Slowing the Clock Naturally
Human growth hormone is so intimately wrapped up in the functioning of the body that it is hard to imagine a healthy human being who is not benefiting from HGH's ubiquitous effects. There are natural supplements, such as Sytropin HGH Spray, that can stimulate the body to produce more of its own HGH, so for those who cannot afford or do not want to risk injections, it is still possible to experience the anti-aging effects of HGH.
Increasing HGH cannot reverse the aging process because the march of time is inexorable. But it can go on functioning at a high level for a lot longer than we have been led to believe, particularly with the help of a natural substance that is made by the body for the specific purposes of replenishment and rejuvenation.

***HGH - Human Growth Hormone
Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is often recognized for the important role it plays in helping young people grow normally and naturally as they move through childhood into adolescence and finally into adulthood. However, HGH’s importance to healthy human development extends far beyond its contributions to physical maturation in the young. HGH continues to play a significant role in preserving and maintaining healthy biological functioning throughout the life of a human being.
