How Do We Fulfill God’s Purpose In Our Life

As I was reading the gospels today, I noticed a very simple method the Lord Jesus applied to be successful in fulfilling God’s purposes and intentions for His life.

This method can be clearly seen in Luke 9:51. It says there that: “ …when the time was come that he (Jesus) should be received up, he steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem”. Jesus fixed His eyes and focused on the next part of the vision and purpose of God for His life, and so much so, that when He sent messengers to a village to prepare for Him, the messengers were not received by the villagers, “ …because his face was as though He would go to Jerusalem”.

Jesus was so consumed by this purpose, that even His messengers were able to display it through their own life. Jesus was actually not there, but the messengers He sent were able to so present His mission in such a way, that the villagers of that Samaritan region could see it vividly and even react to it.

Well, simple enough, yet, very profound. The more focused we are about a given thing, the greater the results will be. The more time and energy we give to something, the more proficient we become in it. The more we study or practice in the area of a gift or ability that we may have, the better we become. It’s really that simple.

Actually, if You interview ANY famous musician, athlete or professional, and ask them what is the number one thing that contributed to their success, they will all answer the same: absolute and undivided focus, total commitment, much practice and constant study to learn more and more in the given area.

I would not want to go much deeper in this, because I have written a whole book about it. If you want to read it, please click on its title here: Distraction is a sure way to Destruction. With this article I just wanted to show you that when a person is focused adequately, he will definitely succeed, and even people that work for him will be able to carry in themselves and display that same passion so much, that people from other territories will be able to see it and acknowledge it.

May God Bless You!
