I sit and I ponder the state of my family, the economy, public education, politics, religion, philosophy and the general state of the world, my place in the universe and the conditions to which I find myself, many times I want to rip off my clothes and run thru my community screaming to my fellow human's to wake up!. While there are moments that I feel this divine sense of peace and know that I am on the right path, I lose hope when I open a newspaper, read an article online, watch television, observe those around me and wonder where is the hero that I have been waiting for? I can’t take this anymore.

Where are people’s righteous indignation about the state of the economy, the public education system, the political system, the food supply, the lies and misinformation being shoved down our throats and various other topics that take away our peace? Then I realize we are reaping what we sow, literally.

ight or was it progressive malignancy that was allowed to fester? We have been lied to over and over again. Yet we still keep waiting on the world to change. We are told that we should use our “Moral Imaginations” POTUS and everything will be fine. What does a moral imagination encompass, I ask? I can imagine with my moral imagination that it is ok for me to marry my dog and because I can morally imagine it with my mind, it is OK?

We are constantly lambasted by the Pro-Life and Pro-Choice camps about abortion. Mostly there are men telling women what they think is acceptable. I say, unless you, man or woman, have had an abortion, you need to keep your mouth shut. This difficult choice is made by a woman(individually and not collectively), her healthcare provider and ultimately the woman will have to make her peace with God. No-one can legislate that and we should be ashamed of allowing this topic to be used as political fodder.

However, this is where no-one speaks up, not the Left and certainly not on the Right. Tell me how no-one speaks of the men who spill their seed from sea to shining sea, yet we don’t talk about that? Oh no, maybe this belongs in the class of Situational Ethics? Either way no matter how you look at it, it fails to serve someone. Why because we are using our moral imaginations instead of a moral plumb-line?

A plumb-line (a line or weight at end) that was established thousands of years ago to protect us from ourselves and more importantly, were designed to protect women. Divinely inspired wisdom that set mankind apart from animals (whom I might add, live with moral absolutes) and not just because we have thumbs. Oh but wait, only stupid, uneducated people believe in God, the Great Liberator of Women. Woman are equal, right? No that’s not it.

The intellectuals have decided that a belief in something other than what they want us to believe isrnun-controllable, so it must be made to appear that those who have more ambition, money and possessions, are those people too whom we are too aspire. Fully aware that their moral imaginations have led to the decline of humankind. Not just in America but the entire world. We live in a spiritual malaise, waiting for the next latest and greatest man-made philosophy to invade our collective consciousness.

I have had all of the choices available to my generation, some have served me and others have not. They were however, my choices and I have had to live with them. I believe that God knew that everyone would fail, so we were graciously sent divine providence. You can either take it or leave it but you can’t change the premise of the 10 Commandments:

"And God spake all these words, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any- thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 6. Thou shalt not kill. 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery. 8. Thou shalt not steal. 9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

These are simple rules, whether you believe in God or not. We all know the following actions have brought our collective consciousness to its knees. How can we disagree that the 17 Deadly sins (Galatians 5:19 now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling and such) have hurt us collectively?

What if we chose to manifest the Fruits of the Spirit, (Galatians 5:22 -23 The Fruit of the Spirit is: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance: against such there is no law). Would the World not indeed be a better place for all?

However, like most things in life, if it fails to give us the desired, immediate result, it is labeled a fallacy or it is no longer relevant and must be expunged from our consciousness like a bad disease.

All we have is today right? So “party like its 1999”. Remember though, when our consciousness, flickers and dies, as it will for everyone, what do we want to be remembered for? Our souls: Man’s moral and emotional nature especially as communicated by what he writes, composes, etc.; the seat of real life, vitality, or action; animating or vital principal. The leader; moving spirit; also, the embodiment. Courage; spirit, fervor, spiritual force. A disembodied spirit. G&C Merriam Co. Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Fifth Edition 1944.

Remember this is not just about what is best for our individual needs today, but for our beautiful children. Souls, born into this world with perfect hearts and minds. Who's intellect is then subjugated and collectively expunged over time, if deemed different, by those who promised to enlighten them to their true potential. They will be left to clean up our mess. The mess that is the Moral Imagination.
