Most people who want to lose weight want to lose it fast. They want results as soon as possible rather than over many long boring years. So the question is then, how fast can you lose weight?
If you are losing weight at a healthy rate, you can expect to lose approximately one to two pounds weekly. But this is simply the average number and will vary from person to person depending on a couple of factors.
Firstly, you have to take into account how much extra weight you have to lose. If you have a lot of extra weight to lose, you may see a greater rate of fat loss, while someone else with relatively little excess weight may see a slower rate of fat loss per week.
Another factor which determines how quickly you will burn your excess fats is how well you stick to your fat loss program. The most important thing here is to make sure that you are in a calorie deficit, which means that you are burning more calories through the form of exercises than you are consuming in the form of food. If you neglect one or the other, you may experience slower fat loss. If your calorie deficit level is higher, then your rate of fat loss will be higher.
Lastly, ensure to include cardiovascular and weight training into your workout routine. A good way is to alte
ate cardiovascular and weight training days. If you are worried about getting too big from weight training, you should not be. In fact it is the only way to get the lean and fit look. The reason bodybuilders look the way they are is with years of training with an extremely high amount of calorie and protein intake. The reason you should not neglect strength training in terms of weight loss is that it will increase your metabolism. If you have more lean muscle mass, you will have a higher natural metabolism rate even during your rest. Basically, you burn calories even when you sleep.
Remember that you should change your lifestyle if you want quick and permanent fat loss results. The fad diets may show results in the short term, but they are not sustainable. Fat loss takes determination and good discipline. Fat loss can occur quickly only if you were to stay focused on your goals and keep to a healthy diet as well as exercise often.
