Since the time I began gaining weight, I was conce
ed with my body shape. If you have had similar feelings I would like to share my story with you. I hope this provides you with some hope that permanent weight loss can be achieved. You will no longer have to suffer.
Growing up, I did not have to worry about my weight or my body size. I was a fairly skinny child. Around the time of adolescence I began to put on a little bit of weight, which is common during this phase of a girl's life.
The cycle of dieting began at this time. This cycle continued for so many years. I would begin a diet, lose weight and ultimately gain back the weight. This happened over and over again. It was a 20 year battle of obsessing over my weight, my body shape, and my overall appearance. I would participate in eating binges and diets that involved intensive exercise. I also developed a very low self-esteem, even when I had lost some of the weight.
It was not until years later that I began to realize that my problem was based more on my perception of food and not the food itself. The thoughts that I held onto about food and myself only magnified my problem with weight. It dawned on me that I got satisfaction from eating.
It was this realization that brought me to understand the non-diet approach to weight loss. I was determined to start this new healthy and natural journey and become happy with my body shape.
You may be wondering what the non-diet approach is and if it could help you. The non-diet approach to weight loss is a weight loss program that does not limit the types of food that you can eat. Instead it teaches you to have a relationship with your body. You begin to listen to your body and discover what you should eat and when you should stop eating. This non-diet approach helped me to attain the body shape I wanted. I was also able to keep off the weight by changing my mentality about food. It will help you to retrain your negative thoughts and further your weight loss success in a healthy way.
This approach to weight loss can benefit several types of people. First, it helps those who have any eating disorder. It can help you by teaching you strategies to use when you feel the desire to overeat. It can also help individuals who have been on the dieting cycle and are looking for a way to lose weight naturally. This program does not work on a deprivation system. You eat what you need until you are full. It can help anyone that has an unhealthy relationship with food. The non-diet approach can help you reach your desired body shape.
