Like any other sport out there, golf sport require you to be fit and strong in terms of physical and mentally. This is very important in every aspect of improving your golf swing. Every movement in the golf swing will require body and muscles movement and that is why performing some fundamental exercises is important to strengthen the core muscles so your golf swing will become natural to the body. This matter often overlooked by many golfers. To achieve a good golf game it is highly recommended for you to concentrate on improving those muscles that are essential to perform a flawless game.

Flexibility and Muscle toning exercises is the main golf exercises to improve golf swing. When your body and muscles are flexible and toned enough, you can able to conduct a great swing hit effortlessly. Between this two main exercises, you need to first to consider body stretching and flexibility. This is to let your muscle warm up before executing some weight training. The core area for stretching will be your back and spinal area. You will need to perform this stretching regularly. In order to do so, one of the flexibility exercises you can perform is that you will need to kneel down on the floor and stretch your arms forward until your head is almost touching the floor. Maintain this position for at least one minute. Repeat this procedure until you get the feeling of your back is fully stretch and warmed up. After you have perform this method, try to stand with the golf swing position and twist and rotate your upper body without moving your feet. This is to get the feeling of the swing and help to maintain flexibility of your upper body.

After you have understand the importance of flexibility and body stretching you will also need to consider some weight training. This is mainly for muscles toning. Try to carry a simple light weight of dumbbell will do just fine. However, if you want to see great result you will need to perform it repetitively. What you need to do is to train your upper, core and lower body muscles.

Flexibility and muscles toning exercises are the fundamental aspects of golfing exercises. It is true as you swing the club, you will be going through stretching your arms in the movement, and many parts of your body has to be stretched. When you have this flexible and toned muscles you can concentrate more on your swing with no difficulties.

Now that the off-season has officially come to an end and I am getting back to regularly scheduled programming, I thought it appropriate to talk about training in the cold.
