When you receive the Seal God will sometimes cast you into a deep sleep to warn you away from something evil. This is how Adam was cast into a deep sleep in the Garden of Eden, and he awoke to meet Eve.

God took seven days to create the world and what surrounds it in the universe. He created the sun and moon and surrounding stars. He created the flora and fauna of the earth and the sea and the air.

On the seventh day God rested. God did not sleep on the seventh day but He did rest. And He will teach you the importance of rest when you are sealed--rest from evil.

On the fifth day God created the first man, Adam. He created pairs of all the other creatures. There were male and female of all the birds and fish and animals of the land as well as the trees and flowers.

But God did not create a woman for Adam right away. He waited because He wanted Adam to fully appreciate the woman. And when he had been alone for a while, he did long for a companion very much.

He did appreciate the woman when God created her. He was very grateful. He knew what it was like to be alone when everyone else had a companion. And he knew what it was like to have that companion.

But God was Adam's best Companion and best friend, even after God created Eve. Adam had been made like God, Eve had been made like Adam. Eve was his likeness and Adam enjoyed that very much.

But Adam was made in the likeness of God. And God, his creator, was his best friend. He had to be. He was the source from which sprung all the life on earth. And He was the source of spiritual Life.

In the beginning only Adam had that spiritual Life within him. It was the gift of God unto him. Then when God created Eve she too lived spiritually. But none of the other flora and fauna of the Garden had spiritual Life.

That was why Adam had felt so alone before Eve was created. He wanted a spiritual companion to help him. God helped him but God was not always in the garden and Adam missed Him when He was gone.

Adam longed for the woman because that was what God had planned. It was a spiritual longing. Part of his spiritual Life. Most of the fauna and none of the flora knew such dedication to their partner.

When Adam had been alone long enough God cast him into a deep sleep, the hypnode. The hypnode is the way God directs a person by casting him or her into a deep sleep.

When Adam finished his journey in the hypnode he awoke and there was the woman Eve who God had created out of him. He had taken one of Adam's ribs out and fashioned the woman out of the rib.

When you finish your journey on the hypnode you usually will not think you have come to something as glorious and fulfilling as Eve being created for Adam. You will think you have lost something instead of gained something.

That is because God often sends you into the hypnode to warn you away from something that would be bad for you. The deep sleep will stop you from proceeding to what can only hurt you.

Yet though you do not realize it at that time, avoiding what will hurt you will only leave you to proceed to something much better for you. You may not see it then but it can be as good as Eve was for Adam.

When you are sealed God will cast you into the hypnode--the journey of deep sleep--to keep you away from evil. When you come out of the hypnode you will always be saved from the evil that God will not allow to hurt those who receive the Seal.

It seems rather odd to refer to any of what follows as secrets. For one thing, the word “secret” implies that something is hidden and the wisdom below is anything but secret. In some form or fashion, you could find these in virtually any spiritual tradition. Second, “secret” implies that the spiritual wisdom that would lead one to the life he/she really wants is really only accessible by a few. And, the unfortunate tendency is not to regard your self as one of the select few. But, of course, you are.
