You Aren’t Just Another Face in the Crowd. You’re an Expert in Your Field.

Are you ready to boost your online visibility and reach a larger audience? Repurposing your content will help you do that.

Repurposing content is nothing new. You probably already do it to some extent and may not even realize it, or then again, maybe you do. Maybe you’ve used some content from your ebooks or teleseminars to write new blogs or articles. Maybe you’ve used your blogs or articles for your teleseminar outline or created a program or product using some of your existing content.
The great thing about repurposing your content is that you aren’t starting from scratch which can certainly save you a lot of time.

In order to boost your online visibility and reach a larger audience, you need to get your message out in front of as many people as you can. That doesn’t mean that you have to pump out a ton of content daily, because really, who the heck has time for that? It’s all about leveraging your time and expertise.

Can you imagine if you wrote a new blog 3 times a week, then wrote completely different content for your video posts twice a week and then wrote content for an audio that you post once a week? That’s a lot of content you are creating and in just one week. That’s not even content for products and programs and teleseminars, etc., etc.
If you are creating good, valuable content on a daily or weekly basis and sharing it only in text form, you are missing out on a huge audience.

Here are 3 simple ways to get the biggest impact with your content:

1. Record your blog posts as podcasts. Over 27 million people listen to podcasts so that’s a great number to get your content in front of.

2. Record your blogs and articles as video and post to YouTube. Over 1 billion videos are streaming daily. You can also record your blogs and articles as audio and give people the option of reading or listening. If you record as an MP3, they can download and listen at their leisure, while they are driving, working out or, (okay I’m just going to come out and say it) while they are cleaning the house! I don’t know if people really do that, I know I don’t but hey, whatever works for you.

3. Record your ebook or your opt-in as a MP3 and give the option of getting it as text or audio.

You can also have all your audio and video transcribed and repurpose into blogs, articles for your ezine or submit to online directories. This includes audio from teleseminars, workshops or events.

Remember, not all people like to read and not everyone likes or wants to listen to audio or watch videos. By having various formats available, you are able to reach a larger audience as well as giving them your products in the format they want and prefer, because that is how they learn.
Now, that’s not to say that people don’t buy the same products in different formats. If you have an audio from a call, have it transcribed and bundle the transcript and the audio as a package. You can also offer each separately and upsell the other at a discounted price if they buy both. Either way, you aren’t leaving any money on the table.
In order to boost your online visibility, you have to get your content out in front of as many people as you can and on a consistent basis. By writing one blog and then repurposing to audio and video can save you time and reach more people.
I know there are other things that you would rather be doing than trying to come up with more content from scratch for everything you do. Repurposing is working smarter not harder.

In the end, it’s about getting more out of your existing content than writing it for one purpose and then forgetting about it. It’s about getting it out in as many different formats to as many people as you can, on a consistent basis.

What are you an expert in? How can you boost your visibility while re-delivering your best content?
