You want to look good. We all want to look good; here you will discover how to look good in anything and everything.

Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Some people have a mole on their face and spend time and money in disguising or hiding it, or in some cases having the mole removed. Some
who have no facial blemishes will spend time and money on a ‘beauty spot.’

We have no control over what people think about us. What they think is their business. How we think and feel is our business. So the first step in how to look good in anything and everything is to feel good about ourselves. Love what you’ve got.

Liking who we are and learning to Love Ourselves was an article I wrote.and is key in how to look good in anything and everything, to summaries the main points:

Make a list of all our achievements.
List all those things that we like about ourselvesr
Know ourselves, our beliefs, values, goals and purposer
Understand and know that we are doing the best that we can. If we could do better we would.
Have compassion for ourselves, think what would we say and do to a friend who was in our situation?
Understand our motivationsr
Be true to ourselves

2. Be you! Kate Moss, Elle Macpherson and Hugh Grant are all taken; and there amazing benefits in being you. as you will discover in this post The amazing benefits of being you;

Happiness when you’re doing what you like; you are happier.

We feel much more fulfilled when we do what we like.

Better health, doing what we like and are good at makes us smile more. look at my post 17 reasons to smile.

We have more wealth because we’re doing what we love, we’re better at it and more enthusiastic.

Better relationships, because we’re smiling more and happier, people want to be around us more.

So if you want more from life, better health, abundant wealth and amazing relationships be you. You’re unique no-one else has your set of talents and gifts, as Ricky Beckwith said in the film beyond the secret ‘everyone else is taken’ so be you

By liking who we are, we look good there is an inner contentment which radiates out and is key of How to Look good in Anything and Everything.

Go to my blog to watch this great video from Nic. He’s got no arms or legs. But I think Nic looks good

3. Now we like ourselves on the inside we can progress to the outside. Be clean, a ‘distinctive body aroma’ in the form of BO is a denfite no,no! If you’ve got dirty or sweaty have a shower or bath. That includes clean finger nails gents! Tony Robbins tells that when he was starting out he lost a potential major client because Tony had chewed his finger nails down to the quick. Ladies when going out think it’s normal to have a manicure and pedicure, men we can too. I’ve been having a pedicure and manicure regularly since coming out to the Philippines and they’re great! Having a manicure and pedicure helps you to feel great!

4. Good underwear. Ladies find a bra that fits and is comfortable and helps you feel good. It does n’t matter who you are if your underwear is tight you’re not going to feel good. Ergo you won’t look good.
In my blog there's a great video on how to find the perfect fitting bar by none other tha
Gok Wan. Love it when Gok says to Jenny "make your boobs more appealing in your eyes."

5. Colours some colour’s will enhance you looks other will make you look palid. Go with the colours that suit you and your personality. If you’re not sure take a friend. I have found that ‘gays’ or lady boys as they’re reffered to in the Philippines have a highly developed sense of colour and what looks good. But you must like it too!

6. Clothes, fashion trends change and not all will suit you. Step free of ‘Fashion’ and find garments that suit you. If you’re small and petite, different things will look good on you than if you’re tall and willowy. There’s lot’s of different body shapes, and a huge variety of clothes. And some clothes will feel just right for you. Those are the ones for you. These clothes needn’t cost a fortune either. Supermarkets rush to imitate the latest ‘chic’ look at a fraction of the boutique cost. But only buy that if it truly suits you and you feel good in it. Also second hand is gaining a large following. A friend of mine Ruth loves charity shops so much she started her own web site featuring all the charity shops in the United Kingdom, and she’s visited a huge number of them! Ruth tells me that clothes that cost hundred’s of ££ when new can be picked up for under a tenner.

7. A key component of how to look good in anything and everything is the accessories that we choose. This is especially true for men. Shoes and watch tell a huge amount. I wear no watch, although I have a ’nice’ one, one that feels right for me, because I have no need to ‘watch’ the time. Shoes need to be clean and cared for. Gents are so lucky here a quality pair of shoes will last a long time. I’ve had 3 decades of wear from some shoes, and they still look smart and they feel great like a second skin.

Ladies shoes are predominately much more transient often only lasting a few months. Why do ladies wear shoes that are uncomfortable and difficult to walk in? (High heels) and don’t last? Wouldn’t be better to choose shoes on their comfort factor, they feel good. The number of parties I’ve been to were as the evening progresses the expensive heels get left to one side. I digress, but the point is that shoes are bought to wear, so ergo should be comfortable to wear.Summer Accessories

Handbags, necklaces, scarf’s coats all have a large impact on how you look, so choose accessories that feel right and are fit for the purpose. My daughter was looking for a new handbag and gave serious consideration to an old cartridge bag of mine. The bag was/is very practical, easy opening good storage, however the strap wasn’t right for her. To look good in anything it has to feel right for you.

8. Together the clothes and accessories that you chose should be an exte
al acknowledgement and expression of what you’re like inside. And above should feel good and comfortable for you. Like a second skin then you will have mastered ,how to look good in anything and everything.

Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart. ~Kahlil Gibran

I was watching my six and nine year old daughters playing the other morning when suddenly there was a barrage of I Hate You and I Don't Like You Anymore statements flying about the room. Of course, it was just a moment of disagreement in child play, but the thoughts and feelings were real enough to them at that moment.
