Do you commonly think about working out and eating healthy first when you ask yourself "how to lose weight?" That's what we tend to think of when we think about how to lose weight- and these are all actions, things we do.
And they sure are fundamental. You will only experience progress on the weighing machine and in the mirror if you do the right things. Now- you'll have to do the right things for an extended period of time, not just one time. You need to do them until you've reached your weight loss goal. And, if you want to keep the weight off permanently, you'll have to do the right things for good.
That's the point where weight loss efforts tend to fail. Many women over 40 can't keep that up long enough, although they initially put in a lot of time and energy in doing the right things.
Has it ever happened to you, that you coulnd't follow through with a weight loss program after starting it enthusiastically? Couldn't you reach your weight loss goals? It's commonly called "falling off the wagon" and is very frustrating- frequently women over 40 stop their weight loss plan at this point and look for another programme, thinking another programme would be simpler and answer their questio
"how to lose weight?".
The circle repeats with the next program: Becoming frustrated and finishing the program because not being able to follow through. The result of all of this is getting on and off platforms and having no idea on how to lose weight.
This begs the question: Why are some successful long-term, can stick with their plan and other's can't? What do many do not know when they ask themselves "how to lose weight?"
There is an highly crucial ingredient in knowing how to lose weight, and that's your motivation. Your motivation is what causes you do the right things, and if you want to do the right things long-term, you need to keep up your motivation long-term.
Your motivation is taken for granted by conventional weight loss plans just telling you what to eat and how to work out. Judging from what I learn from my readers, all women over 40, this is apparently not effective.
There are 3 important points to be conscious of:
First of all, you need to have a substantial enough "why" to be capable to follow through. You need to spend sufficient time to be clear on your individual "why do I want to lose weight". It's unique to you. You might find simple surface answers, like "I want to be more attractive" or "I want to be healthier". Ask yourself why do you want to be healthier? What would it give you to be healthier? Or, what would you get if you were more attractive? If you want to know how to lose weight then these are important questions.
Next, your reasons to lose weight and your "why" might alter from time to time. So don't just repeat your individual reasons to lose weight like a mantra. Constantly touch base with yourself and ask yourself: "What are my personal reasons to lose weight right now?"
Third, continously regenerate and freshen your motivation. Do it on a everyday basis.
We look at your individual motivation in every session of my "Lose Weight Permanently" program first. It's that essential.
I encourage you to renew your individual top 10 reasons to lose weight each morning to keep your weight loss going. You will observe it is helpful if you keep these reasons on top of your mind throughout the day. It will help you in difficult situations and it will help you to do the appropriate things- exercising and eating right, so answering the questio
