4 Steps to Loving a Man Were you taught how to love a man or did you just figure it out on your own? If you’re anything like me, you weren’t officially told how to love a man. You either modeled what you saw your mother do or you mimicked what you say on TV.

The key to having a successful relationship is knowing how to love a man. The truth is that every man is different however; there is a foundation that you can begin with.

1. As a woman, you were created to be a help mate. So that means being there to help and support that man. So when it comes to helping the man that you’re with, you have to figure out the best way that you can support him. The only way to figure this out is by getting to know him.

2. Honor him. The definition of honor is to have high respect. So respect the man that you’re with. Respecting a man means listening to his opinion even if you disagree. Also, smile when you see him and accept him for who he is.

3. Let him be who he was designed to be. Men are leaders, providers, and protectors. That is how they were designed. When you try to be the man in the relationship there will be conflict.

4. Love him wholeheartedly. I truly believe that the definition of love is: 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1st Corinthians 13: 4-7 This is how you should love a man.
