Having your own home based franchise, you must each day know exactly who your energy vampires are and how to keep them away. We have all heard it before, the Law of Attraction states that we transmit both positive and negative energy and how we manage this energy positively is what really matters.
So, who are your energy vampires in your home based franchise? Are they fear, doubt, anger, hopelessness, frustration, depression? The list could go on and on. You need to become an expert at dealing with the positive energy that you possess so you do not get demolished by draining situations or people who would like to be your energy vampires and thus bring your dreams and your hopes down to the dark underground.
When you associate with negative people or people who are constantly dwelling on the worst of any situation or event, you in turn are dragged down. I am sure that you are constantly hearing about the crisis our economy is in today and the uncertainty of the future. Will you have a job, do you have enough in reserve if you get laid off, what is going to be your exit plan? Blah, Blah, Blah. Don’t you just get sick of it all? Why surround yourself with these types of people? There is absolutely no upside for you or your home based franchise.
Instead…just walk away from the energy vampires that you have around you and look for the positive energy and the positive people that are out there waiting for you to join them.
When you surround yourself with positive people and positive energy you suddenly feel as if the clouds have miraculously lifted and your goals and dreams are within your reach once again. Positive people help you feel energized and when you are around them on a consistent basis you unconsciously pick up on their attitude and make it your own.
The choice, as always, is yours. Where do you want to take your dreams and your goals for the last quarter of 2009? Are you going to be surrounding yourself with more the same negative vampires or are you going to make the choice to hang out with people who share your goals, ambitions and dreams?
Who do hang out with? Do they inspire you? Are they upbeat and supportive? People with good and positive energy are always determined to do their best regardless of what the outcome might be. They do not have unrealistic expectations that are impossible to live with. The have a willingness to learn and provide wisdom and inspiration when most needed.
Do you and your home based business franchise a favor for the final months of 2009… Seek out people and associations that promote action and service to others. As you spend time with these individuals you will become more like them and you will begin to start to fulfill your dreams and your goals that you have set for you and your business in 2009. You will develop the same successful characteristics that these people that you are partnering have. You will then become the positive leader that people are looking for...the person that others will want to spend their time with.

Decision-Maker or Decision-Faker?
Excerpt from the book "Chase the Championship - Kicking Ass, Taking Names and Becoming a Dealmaker!" Stay far away from the boss’s underlings when you are in search of a decision. The heads of Marketing, IT, Human Resources, or whoever else is part of the “decision-making chain” for the product or service that you are selling should never be the people that you go after for a commitment.
