Putting together a Teleclass can be a great marketing tool to use to bring you and your business more exposure. AND - how it can be a lot easier to do than you might think as long as you have the right tools and tips like using hard copy publications to promote your teleclass and how key it is to make it easy for people to register for your class.
Now, let's look at some key places you can promote your teleclass on-line, how to actually set up the conference line you need to hold your teleclass and how a teleclass can bring you more clients and income.
Sounds good, yes? Here ya go ...
EnergyRICH® Insider Secret Teleclass Tip #3:
Post Your Teleclass Online. Of course, in addition to hardcopy "in your hand" promotion of your Teleclass there are also some great online sites you can advertise on. I'm going to share a couple with you here:
- planetteleclass.com, if you are listed as an expert, which it doesn't take too much to do honestly, at selfgrowth.com they'll let you post any events as well as online classes for free.
- You can also post at CCUlearning.com, this tends to be geared more toward coaches. (Please Note: Some of these places that I'm giving you do require a fee for posting so be sure to check out their posting requirements.)
Additional sites are:
- teleclass4you.com
- teleclasslive.com
- teleclass.com and seminarannouncer.com
n- craigslist.com
I definitely recommend poking around and seeing if there are any more "local" sites that are similar to craigslist where you could post a class and this might be another way to branch out!
EnergyRICH® Hint: Always remember "word of mouth" is still one of the best resources around for building an excellent customer base. So another option along these lines, whether you joint-venture or not, is looking to other people in your network, your strategic alliances or affiliates, that would be willing to send out some information to their communities on your behalf about your teleclass.
EnergyRICH® Insider Secret Teleclass Tip #4:
Setting Up A Conference Line. Obviously you're going to need a conference line in order to give your Teleclass. The great thing is there are many different FREE conference lines out there, but keep in mind they are free conference lines, so you're sort of running on the track of you get what you pay for, right? Here are some that I recommend which we here at EnergyRICH® have used, to some degree, in the past:
- nocostconference.com
n- freeconferenccall.com
n- basementventures.com
n- instantconference.com
This last line is the one that we use for our group classes and EnergyRICH® Business Boot Camp Class Training and Master Mind calls. I can't say I've found a "golden free-conference line," but the one that we use right now has been the best for us so far.
For your first time of setting up a teleclass or any smaller class gatherings using one of these free lines is totally doable and will definitely serve your needs.
Once you have your conference line, be sure to test the line before you have the call. You can ask a friend or two to call into the line before you give your class. Be very clear about what the prompt codes are for that particular line and test them (i.e., What button do you need to push and when? What codes do you need to enter to record the call? What codes do you need to enter to mute the call?)
EnergyRICH® Insider Secret Teleclass Tip #5:
Be Clear on the Call To Action - Give Only ONE WAY.
EnergyRICH® Hint: Remember your intention for giving a free intro or preview teleclass is to allow people to experience you, to get to know you, to like you, to trust you and then move forward and want to take a next step with you. So be very clear about what that next step is even if it's just to have people get in touch with you to for a one-on-one connection.
Now, for the technical aspects of the "call to actio
" you want to be very clear about what people need to do, how they need to get in touch with you and give them only ONE WAY. So if it's to join a program and you have that's set-up online then you would give that URL and from there they can join the program.
Again, be as simple as possible. Use a short simple URL domain name, so it's easy for you to say on the class, it's easy for people to understand, it's easy for them to go to.
Be specific as to how you want the "Call to Actio
" to proceed, choose ONLY ONE WAY! DON'T say email me or call me or you can go here and do this and give them more options. ONE WAY that they take action and say that one way at least three times within your call to action.
Repeat. People need to hear things more than once. That doesn't mean say it three times in a row, but just as you speak to them about the opportunity you want to make sure that you mention the way that they can best get in touch with you at least three times.
Your EnergyRICH® Call To Action
1) Make sure that you have a conference line set up and that you've tested it. Make sure that you're very clear about what those codes are.
2) If you're using a free conference line and it's the first time you're giving a presentation type of teleclass you do want to put the call in "lecture mode."
3) You want to have a very easy way that people on the call can take advantage of your "call to action." Only ONE WAY, that they can get in touch with you and to say that way at least three separate times.
One of the BEST ways to get in the energy of a teleclass is to attend one!
