Have you imagined your completed book yet? You can do it! It's called mental rehearsing, daydreaming, imagining; take your pick. We all have mentally rehearsed something at one point in our lives. Whether you imagined yourself proposing to your fiancé. Remember how you rehearsed in your mind seeing yourself getting on one knee, saying the words you would say and heard the answer yes. Or many of us imagined ourselves cooking our friend's, our son's, our daughter's favorite birthday dinner. You saw the dishes in detail. You envisioned the entire favorite meal before you even pulled out one pot.

Every great work, every big accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement. -Florence Scovel Shinn

When I decided to write a book, it was hard for me to imagine myself as an author, not to mention a published author. Perhaps you feel the same way. Here are some of the tools (rehearsal words) I used to say to get past that brick wall of unbelief.

Affirmations: Start saying what you will become before you become it. You'll find the more you say it and rehearse it; the more it will become a reality to you. Say, "I am a famous, prosperous, published author. I write [Insert Your Category] books that inspire and help people all over the world."

I must warn you when I started it sounded like a bunch of mumbo jumbo. It felt like I was telling...fooling myself or at least un-truths. (what's the difference?)

But now after twelve books with growing income streams, I am expecting the rest of my words to come true as well. Now, go ahead; write your affirmation below.

Affirm your dreams and begin to expect them to come true! Mine are; why not yours too?
