I know, everybody has told you the list in the money. Well it is definitely true. If you have a list of people who can not wait to open your emails, and hear or buy whatever you have, and that list is in the thousands, well your pretty much set up for life. It just can not be beat. However, I know that every big list had to start from a small one. Most of you might not even have started building your list. Well we need to rectify that right now. Now first off, if you do not know this, you need to create a site that can excite your potential leads into wanting them to give you their email addresses and names, for whatever product you have. Now the product can be anything, just make sure it is something that people need. In my case I created an affiliate shortcut bible I like to call it. It gives you every single link you will ever need to get your affiliate business off the ground today.
Now once you have created a video, e-Book, or software, whatever it is, you now need to create the site. You can go one of two ways about it, you can create it yourself, or pay someone to do it. Now I’m going to assume you are going to want to save as much money as you can. So check out webs.com, it is a great free site to create any type of page you want. I still use it myself today. Affiliate Marketing Tips . It is a free site, does not cost me a dime to run, no hosting fees, and I made it in about 5 minutes. Take a look at it and copy exactly what I did. It is not rocket science. Okay once you have set up your site now you need to start working on your list building. So go join several forums, and promote your link through there, it is free. Plus, since your product is free you will have people running to get your product. Now it will take time to do your list building, so there is another tactic you can employ to speed up the process.
Ad swapping. This is where you create a thread that says you will offer to do ad swaps with anyone. Now what generally happens is you will have people contact you with a list of similar size to yours. However, I had noticed on several occasions when my list was only around 150 people I had guys willing to do swaps and there lists were in the thousands. All you do is this, you each give the other guy your email with your squeeze page URL to send to each others lists. Simply set up a date, and then blast out what the guys sends to your list and he does the same to his list. It is a completely easy and free way to build up your list in a very fast manner. Sense you are both in the same forum, you are both most likely in the same area of interest or niche. So the lists will be interested in what you have to offer. Plus, they trust the guy who is sending it to them, so they will most likely take your free offer, and you will get people signing up left and right.
It is a fantastic list building tactic that I feel people tend to ignore, or maybe just do not even know about. Just make sure you keep all the appointment dates of when you are supposed to email you list with the other guys squeeze page. Before you know it you can have a lot of ad swaps going on. Maybe get a calendar, and write all the dates down. It is what I did. All if not most forums do some sort of ad swapping. So do not be afraid to try it as a
