Is 2012 going to make us all spiritually connected?

There is a lot of speculation around about 2012 and the dramatic changes that are going to occur this year. So colossal they have been likened to that of biblical proportions. Everyone has their own thoughts, opinions and views and I thought that my views are just as important to be heard as those of any film producers that re expressing themselves so dominantly with films such as 2012 an ARMAGEADON. My views may not be as in your face dramatic as those box office hits but they may offer and alte
ative thought pattern that may be embraced by others and so I choose to share.
Over the past few years I have been feeling energies around changing, have you experienced it aswell? As we all know evolution occurs every now and again throughout time. This has been occurring since the beginning of creation. Things are constantly changing,this we may not want to happen, but they do happen all the same. It is understandable that we are going to feel unsettled as not knowing what the future may hold for humanity can be quite conce
ing when we think about it. So I reckon the best thing is not to think too much about it as our imaginations can run wild with images of tsunami’s and other devastating events that shake our world. Alte
atively it may be a good idea to start listening to ourselves again. Our consciousness is our inner guide, it has been given to us to help us survive through life as long as possible, just like our heart and brain are vital to our physical survival our consciousness is vital to keep us emotionally stable and lead us in the right direction away from danger.
I feel the best thing for us all to do is prepare ourselves for a more fulfilling future and that I truly believe is by re-connecting with humanity and most importantly ourselves. Our obsession with materialistic possessions is bringing the world to its knees. The global economic crisis has shown us that we cannot find stability through money. No, we must discover stability within so that we have a great foundation in which to grow securely without being shaken too much by our ever changing world and circumstances.
I have learned that Spirituality does not necessarily mean becoming religious. It is about connecting with ourselves and discovering our true inner potential. We are all connected on a different level other than that of personal communication and all of our energies combined create the world that we live in. So the best thing that we can do for our changing times is to add a little bit of love to the mix. What have we got to lose I reckon.
Life itself is actually simple; it is us complex humans that make it complicated!

I recently read an article by Oprah called A Spiritual Revolution: Oprah reveals her intensions for 2012. She talks about the power of intension and alignment. Intension is when within ourselves and within the world, by living more authentically, intuitively, creatively and collaboratively that we can bring about a shift. Alignment occurring when we become enlightened, when we are aligned with our hearts desire, when we are in sync with who we are meant to be and doing what we are born to contribute to this world. By shifting our perceptions we will start noticing that miracles show up regularly.
Sitting here right now following my inner guide encouraging me to write this article I am glowing, I know that I am doing what is right for me and that I am following my true calling as I am living in sync and following my heart’s desire. That is what my spiritual evolution is all about and is an example of what Oprah is expressing.
I think that one of the things that helped me along was the realisation that becoming spiritual isn’t something we can be taught by another, being spiritual is taking a moment out of the hustle and bustle of life and going within, connecting to our core and finding the true wealth of love that we all have within and many of us are fearful to access.
I accessed my inner light and it is the best thing that I have ever done. It has the potential to not only emotionally heal me but to also allow me help to heal others that I meet along my path of life. I have hope and belief that miracles happen every day when we open our minds to seeing them.
