Is It The Angels Talking Or Your Ego?

In our society today, we very much live in the ego. The ego was formed when we decided to come to earth and inca
ate as humans. We made the decision to separate from God and the ego was born. It works very hard at trying to prove to us that we are separate from God, and that we need to hide, play small, and suffer.

The ego enjoys activities like gossip, one up manship, blame, victimization, cruelty, pain, jealousy, criticism, hatred, separation, loneliness, and suffering. It uses all these against us to prove to us that we are indeed alone and miserable and that therefore God cannot exist.

It is also extremely clever- if you do begin to look into spirituality, it can adapt and begin to tell you how superior you are now that you are being spiritual. The ego is always trying to show us that we are better than or less than someone else. The truth is of course, that we are all the same. If you do not believe this, you may have some work to do with your ego.

When you begin to try to communicate with the angels, it can be challenging to know if the messages that you are getting are angelic, or just your ego playing tricks with you. Some of the ways to spot the ego are as follows:

The ego is never consistent. If you are hearing conflicting messages, ask the angels to help you to take your ego out of the way- Archangel Michael and Archangel Jophiel can help you with that.

If the message is cruel, or hurtful, or anything other than pure love, then the message is not from the angels. The angels will always tell the truth, and if you really need to hear that your diet needs improving, then this is the message that the angels will give you. Not everyone likes to hear the truth, but at the same time, you will know it is the truth, and you can choose to listen to the guidance or disregard it- we all have free choice after all.

If the message is about becoming rich and famous, then it is most likely not from the angels. Angels listen to the questions from your heart, and most people want to be loved more than anything, and to know how to bring more love into their life.

Another avenue the ego explores is by talking about issues that have no interest to you whatsoever, or subjects that you have never previously discussed. Angels again, can see right into your heart, and so the messages always relate to you and your desires and needs.

Angel messages are loving, guiding, nurturing, kind and supportive. Anything else is the ego. Learn to differentiate between the two, and trust that the angels are pleased to be talking with you, at last!
