Is There A Correlation Between Lifting Weights And Burning Fats?
Written by Alvin J Chua
If you have ever wondered if lifting weight will help you burn fats, then you may want to read this entire article, as you will soon discover that building muscles will help to burn fats as well. Also, there is no need to train till you look like a bodybuilder to lose your excess fats.
Most people dread thinking about long hours in the gym, regardless of whether it is to run on the treadmill, or lifting a ton of weight until your arms hurt. It does not have to be like that and in fact once you know what you should be performing instead, you will enjoy working out and burning fat fast.
So, the question is why does weight lifting help to burn fats off so quickly?
Proper weight training with a healthy and balanced nutrition plan with a calorie deficit is the quickest way to lose weight. The more muscle mass we have, the more calories our bodies need to burn during the day to maintain that new figure. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for fat levels, as our bodies store fat to serve as extra calories on days you eat less. This is why it is important to start building muscles by lifting weights instead of just running every day! You should start building muscle to burn more calories and your body will soon change.
Performing weight lifting exercises for at least three times weekly will be highly beneficial to you, not only to lose weight but also to lead a healthy life. Humans were not originally designed to be fat, we are programmed to constantly move and using our bodies throughout the day. However, the problem is most of us are either busy with work or studies. Thankfully, it is easy to burn fat and gain muscle by simply doing a quick weight training workout from home or the gym. A hard and intensive work out between 35-45 minutes is sufficient to change your entire body.
Most women or men worry at this point in time, as they do not want to look like bodybuilders. However, you need not worry about that as you are not going to take in a ton of calories. You are going to be in a calorie deficit; therefore, by performing weight lifting exercises as well, you will only achieve a lean and athletic body. Therefore, your fears of becoming too big are unfounded.
