Is Your Brain Blocking Your Success?

Are you satisfied with your achievements or is your brain blocking your success?
Do you go through life just “accepting” the status-quo, even though you’re unfulfilled and yearn for more?
It’s not uncommon. The fact is many people want more out of life and, they know there’s more to be had, but rarely consider themselves deserving or capable and brush their hopes and dreams off as mere fantasy.
This feeling of inadequacy is often due to years of involuntary mental programming based on the past experiences, even from childhood. Some experiences, disappointments or even points of view from family and peers can impact our thoughts and throughout life we “accept and absorb” them as the norm without a second thought.
For example, you may have suffered a blow to your self esteem as a child that left you feeling less than you are. It may have been something as simple as not making the ‘cut’ for the baseball team or being scolded by a teacher in front of the class.
You may have grown up in a family where times were tough and money was scarce; your parents taught you that the only way to make ends meet was to finish school, get a job and work like a dog!
Were you overlooked for a promotion at work? Perhaps you were unsuccessful when you applied for a new position.
It’s safe to say that we’ve all had ups and downs and definitely some worse than others.
It’s also probable that you’ve had desires and dreamed of success. You may even “envision” it, but you may not TRULY believe it’s attainable due to internal programming.
In other words, depending on how you’ve processed limiting past experiences – your self confidence and self worth may be weakened … and ultimately your thought patterns may be standing between you and your success.
If so, here’s something else for you to absorb:
God created everyone equal. We all came into the world the same way, and we’re all going out the same way. Like it or not!
That said, there is absolutely NO reason whatsoever why you cannot be as successful as anybody else on the planet
The very first key to your success is for you to work on YOU! Work on the way you think. Change must happen on the inside, starting with reprogramming that lump between your ears.
It is absolutely imperative to not only ‘tell’ yourself that you can achieve anything you wish, but you must learn to “believe” it and be “determined” to achieve it.
A persistent mindset is mandatory! Don’t let it wear off like past New Years resolutions … where you’ve “decided” on something for the first couple of weeks, then let the excitement fizzle only to fall back on regular habits.
Your success is based on constant thought reinforcement! If you reprogram your mind and reinforce it daily, to accept the fact that you ARE capable of achieving success…then you can!
Don’t allow the past or outside influences to interfere and I’d be willing to bet that in 30 days you’ll have created a whole new outlook.
After all “they” say (whoever “they” are :-) ) that anything done for 30+ days becomes habit. This healthy & accurate new outlook needs to become your new habit to replace the negatives from the past.
I’ll tell you quick personal story to prove a point about the power of the mind and how it can stand in the way of your success:
-When I first started joined my internet business opportunity, I did great. I entered knowing NOTHING, and within literally days of marketing I had results. Truthfully, at the time, I just ‘did it’… I didn’t consciously think “I’m going to do great” but nor did I consider failure.
I simply buckled down, learned a few skills and took action. My results were quick and quite impressive.
All of a sudden.. I encountered a couple of personal roadblocks that shook my self esteem. I allowed myself to ‘think’ that everything I had experienced was beginners luck. My results disappeared as I allowed myself to ‘mope’ and beat myself up.
It was only when I consciously realized that I had allowed these thoughts to influence me, that I decided to ‘reprogram my mind’ and let go of this ‘mental block’. I re-focused back on the positives and the fact that I had just as much power as the next person, and my results bounced back.
Start a new habit of self-reinforcement and reprogram your mind.

Time to be Positive
This is the time to be positive and avoid negative thinking at all costs. Negative thoughts will ruin your life. Instead, fill your mind with positive thoughts. Today and everyday think of all the great things that are taking place in your life. I'm not saying this just because it's the start of a new work week.
