It is IMPOSSIBLE to fail

Most ‘norms’ live in fear of failure…

They are too scared to try anything new for fear of losing money, losing face and losing the will to live!

And they forget that they are the ones completely in control of what happens even if they hit the unlikely end-result of failure.

Yes, honey, you have all the power!

You get to determine whether you fail or whether you just learnt a new lesson and you grow from that lesson to hit a higher level of success.

It is NEVER failure until the moment you decide to quit for good and go back to an old, dissatisfying life. That is the only time you fail.

It is impossible to fail until that moment and you control that moment! YES, YOU DO!

Because that moment never has to arrive, that moment when you hang up your hat and stop forever – That moment need never happen to you. And you will be tempted, OH SO TEMPTED, at times to give up but you never have to.

If you realise that you are not the only one that has felt this way at times and in fact, some of the people you most highly admire have wanted to quit as well and yet, the only difference between you and them, is time, experience and the willingness to keep stepping.

They let their ego go so it stopped being about saving face.

And then they did what norms could not understand.

They faced seeming defeat and they kept stepping.

They maybe gave themselves a little second to gather themselves, they did not spend too much time dwelling on the past (except to pick up a lesson or two) and then they jumped straight into the next idea or they changed direction with their current idea.

They did something and kept doing something until they won the game they were playing.

They did not give unnecessary meaning to the hits they were taking – They did not make it mean they were not good enough and never could be, they did not make it mean that they did not have what it took, they did not make it mean anything completely demoralising.

They just assessed the result and changed direction to see if they could get a different result the next time. They made it impossible to fail.

They were fully committed to the birthing of their dream and nothing, not even soul crushing defeat, was going to stop them.

They took full responsibility for getting the result they wanted, rather than succumbing to a need to feel hard done by and ‘woe is me’.

Can you find it in yourself to have such a mindset?

Absolutely yes!

It is already in you but maybe, you have not been called to tap fully into that yet.

Or maybe, you were waiting for me to write this so that you could understand that you are not alone in this.
