It takes courage to be the leader…

To be the one that keeps showing up even when it feels like no one is listening…

To have a dream, a huge big dream that no one else can see…

It takes courage to believe enough in yourself to just keep putting it out into the marketplace…

To keep telling people on social media

TO EVEN START telling people anywhere and everywhere…

Or to put on that event where you are not sure that anyone will come…

Or to do that online course that no one might buy…

It is easier to play it small…

To stay safe in a life that you don’t much like but at least, you know it and everyone who ‘loves’ you knows you as that person…

That small person that talks a big game but does not always follow through…

But you know that is not you!

When you pretend to be that person, you feel small…

And you annoy yourself because you KNOW that there is more to you!

Much, MUCH more to you.

And you know there is work for you to do…

There are stories to tell that will change lives…

Services to provide that will help others…

Products, books, music, art that will change the course of the world…

But you feel afraid…

And maybe even delusional…

It all feels too big for you…

And you wonder if you are enough…

Except you do not give yourself the chance to find out because you stop, start, stop, start…

ENOUGH!

Did you know that the feeling of confidence/courage comes last?

And that it is as you CHOOSE to show up and be the leader, then you start to FEEL like the confident leader you know you are born to be…

That is the only way the dreams in your head become a reality

It is by you firstly choosing to heed the call on your life, not the fear in your head…

It is by ignoring the silence as no one likes or comments or shares or even can be bothered to acknowledge you in anyway…

It is by choosing to keep putting yourself out there anyway because you must be the one, possibly THE ONLY ONE, to believe in what you have to offer first, before you can bring anyone else for the ride…

That, honey, is how your life changes…

That, honey, is how you get to impact the world.

That, my honey, is how you achieve financial independence wherever you are in the world…

And that is how you wake up to a life of fulfilment, passion, happiness.

Because you simply showed up every freaking day and did the work.

Will you do it?

Fight for, deliberately design the life you are born to live

Because you want to.

I’ll share with you that when I first started in business the image of a leader that I brought with me was an authority figure who has the power to hurt those that are following them. This was because I was so used to being around authority figures who were coming from a place of leading through fear (I came out of the very toxic public school system). I knew I didn’t want that in my business.

We all know that smiles are contagious. So are bad moods. Experts in the field of psychic energy say it's that energy – not the actual smile -- that connects you to the good mood of the other person. Many of my clients share that one of their biggest marketing challenges is actually connecting with enough prospects. They are doing all of this great work in their businesses, but not very many people know about their work; or at least not enough for the flow of business to be moving smoothly and easily. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Sound familiar? There isn't one perfect way to consistently connect with prospects, but there are many ways that, when used collaboratively, will build you a nice stream of people who are interested in what you do.
