Judgement

Without realizing it, we live our life in constant judgement. We judge ourselves, both our perfections and our imperfections. If you stop and think about it, our entire world is based on judgement.
Our banks judge us on our transaction history to see who is credit worthy and who is not. Our cell phone companies judge us by our minutes and data plan that we have, the list goes on.
From when we were little kids we learned early that we were being judged. Who gets picked for what team, who is smarter, who is prettier, and the list goes on.
I bring this up because even on social media, there is a lot of judgement. Have you ever posted something positive only for it to be twisted around, or taken the wrong way? Everything you say and do sometimes feels like you are under a microscope. Sometimes it takes the fun out of social media.
Social media is only one part of this blog. The key to judgement is simple. Do not judge. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while. Don’t forget to put that little smiley face at the end of your post so people know to take it lightly.
Always remember, shoes come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Even if you feel you have walked in someone else’s shoes, the issues that surround it may be entirely different. No one knows everything, some may feel they do, but no one is above others.
How do you shake off all that judgement? It’s simple, do not partake in it. With the entire world judging, it is refreshing to think that one less person in the world is judging.
In this day and age it is so easy to follow the norm. It takes hard work and dedication to break-free of the ways of so many. For an example, when you call about your cell phone plan, you tell them what YOU want and don’t just settle for what they have to offer based on their judgement of you. This is only one example, the same goes for other situations as well.
Don’t judge yourself too harshly, be happy with who you are. When you speak, or type, make sure that you are aware of the other person’s feelings. Don’t be cynical or critical! Let love shine and happiness fill your heart for yourself and all others.
