During winter, most of your clothes are of wool. But have you ever throughout that you might be having different types of wool in your clothes. As you never bother about different types of wools, it will be a tough task to distinguish between your woolen clothes. Before we start learning about different types of wool, you should know the basic definition of wool. Wool is the byproduct that is derived from sheep, camel, rabbit, goat etc. In general, the wool is used as the synonym of natural fiber that is available to mankind. Sheep Wool: This name has been derived from its origin. The sheep wool is made from sheep that is also considered to be the most traditional format of getting wool and using it to manufacture multiple woolen clothes. Merino Wool: This wool is also taken from the sheep but here, it is limited to a specific breed. The Merino sheep is used to get merino wool and make woolen clothes for the winter. Mohair Wool: The mohair wool is also derived from goat, but angora breed of goats is used to collect this wool. The mohair wool is not as soft as merino and some of the users also complaint its irritation when worn next to the skin. Angora Wool: Angora rabbit is used to make angora wool which is basically built from their hairs. The hair of angora goats is considered to be fluffy and soft. And because of that, it’s expensive than other forms of wool. But to boost its fabric, the nylon is blended in angora wool. Cashmere Wool: To make the cashmere wool, cashmere goats are used. This wool is very soft and hence gives a luxurious feeling. The cashmere wool is highly loved by the users that make it an expensive buying option in comparison to others. Alpaca Wool: This form of wool is received from the hair of Peruvian alpacas. It is one of the luxurious natural fibers that deliver warmth more than other forms of wools. Now you have heard more about the different types of wool, its time to understand what makes a big difference between them. There are different factors that make differs in each of the wool. The woolen fiber is the biggest factor that makes a big difference. Resistance towards fur, flaming etc also brings a difference in different types of wool. When it comes to comfort, there are some wools that are smooth to your skin while some are hard. So, from now onwards, it will be easy for you to buy the right woolen clothes during the winter season. You will even become capable to buy the right wool as per their variety and marked price.
