About the Author
Brenda Shoshanna is a psychologist, author, speaker and long term Zen practitioner. Her work is dedicated to integrating East and West and sharing Zen principles and practice with those of all backgrounds and faiths. Brenda’s emphasis is upon the simplicity of Zen and connecting practice to your everyday life.
Some of her other books include, Zen and the Art of Falling in Love, Zen Miracles, (Finding Peace in An Insane World), and Just Grab The Dust Rag. Brenda offers Zen talks for the Inisfada Zen community and workshops on seeing all of life as a Zen Koan, and finding unexpected wisdom and joy everywhere.
Each week Brenda provides two weekly podcasts, Zen Wisdom For Your Everyday Life and Your Best Self. She also shares many of her short audio books which combine the teachings of Zen and Psychology in overcoming difficulties and living life to the full.
In addition, Brenda offers workshops and classes for Interfaith Clergy, Chaplains, and spiritual counsellors of all kinds based upon the practice and principles Zen. Some classes include: Sacred Psychology (The Foundations of Spiritual Counselling), The Miracle of Mindful Relationships, and Entering The House of Love.
