La Marina and Costa Blanca Holidays

La Marina is a town of two parts with one part on the beach front and the older section being situated one mile inland. Both places have a choice of restaurants, cafés and bars with some excellent local cuisine on offer that is a must try while you are here. The beach is not only one of the widest but it is also 17 kilometres long; just think of the water sports on offer here or a nice quiet place that you can call your own. Like we said if its beaches you are looking for La Marina has them in abundance, these European Blue Flag beaches stretch for some 17 kilometres and you will probably spend most of your holidays here on. You can do more here that twiddle your toes in the sand while you top up your tan or go for a swim in the crystal clear blue waters of the Mediterranean, the water sports here include sailing, windsurfing, surfing, and scuba diving. All these activities have back up facilities that include tuition and equipment hire if needed there is even a diving school that will take your on diving expeditions in search of sunken ships. If you don't fancy the beach life but want to be outside there are bike rental places in town, this will allow you to explore the woods around this village or the rolling dunes that comprise this unique landscape. Be sure and bring the kids with you as there is a lot to keep them busy here such as mini golf, horse riding, quad bike trails and hot air ballooning to name but a few things on offer for them to do. If you want to do a little waking or even climbing the nearby mountains have some lovely trails leading through the beautiful countryside up into the mountains. Be sure to take your camera with you as views from the mountain top are fantastic. If you want to do your walking around a golf course, there are a number of championship courses in the area where you can have a round of golf or use their practice facilities to improve your game so that you can better attack the course. If you run short of something to do one afte oon why not stop in one of the truly Spanish Bodegas where you can sample the local wines served with a free tapas, these are tasty morsels of local dishes for you to enjoy along with the excellent wines. At night time these little bars really come alive with live music and a general air of light hearted fun or you can frequent one of the nightclubs and dance the night away. No matter what you choose to do there is a lot of fun and entertainment on offer while you are here and you only have a short walk back to your holiday villa. One of the nice things that make this COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS even better is that there is local bus service into many of the nearby towns. For example there is Guardamar with its Castle, Elche with a huge pine forest and Torrevieja with its vibrant night life and history plus many more just do a little exploring and you will be surprised at what you fine in the nearby area.
