If you can’t seem to get the things you want in life, it might be tempting to say, “This ‘Law-of-Attraction-thing’ just doesn’t work for me!” Unless you want to remain unfulfilled and discontent, you need to realize something: The Law of Attraction isn’t a thing that either works or not; the Law of Attraction is just one way of explaining how and why you attract the things you do. Take a look around you; that’s the environment your thoughts either created or put you in. And what you think about those things you observe is also filtered through your perceptions and beliefs; what’s “good” for one isn’t always, or necessarily, “good” for everyone. Our thoughts determine and define our experience in more ways than one.
Whether it comes to you, or you go to it, when two things converge we could say that something caused or allowed the two things to be “attracted” to each other. If you are one who observes their own thoughts and actions, you have probably already noticed that thoughts always precede and follow physical experience; we plan, execute, and then evaluate… Thoughts are an integral precursor to the experiences we “converge” with in life. Our thoughts shape our “now” by shaping our future; this moment, and every moment, is the product of our thoughts. Your health, life experience, and everything in it – satisfactory or not – are subject to your thoughts and perceptions. If you don’t like your life or environment, it is up to you to change it. In order to change it, you must change something about the way you are “attracting;” and, thanks to Gary Craig’s EFT, change can be quicker and easier than you might imagine.
The Law of Attraction posits that our experience is the product of our thoughts. This isn’t a great secret, or a new revelation; all ancient wisdom, and all religions, teach – in one way or another – that we, and our lives, are the product of our thoughts. But what isn’t taught so clearly – or commonly – is that most of our thinking is un-conscious thinking; and our unconscious beliefs and belief systems are doing most of the “creating” we witness in our lives. This is why commercial advertising and repetitive e-mail marketing is so effective; the things that become ingrained in our subconscious, or unconscious, minds are the things we tend to gravitate toward – or attract. Repetitive thinking creates a receptive mental, emotional, and physical environment for the object of the repetitive thoughts – whether the thoughts are good, bad, positive, or negative.
EFT has been an incredibly effective tool for encouraging and facilitating the release of old, limiting, or negative, repetitive thought patterns. By simply tapping on a few points while thinking of the problem, or problematic thought patterns, the emotional charge is often released within minutes. People have used EFT to erase unwanted habits and behaviors, to improve performance in all areas of life, and even to overcome medical challenges. Removing obstacles to forward progress and success is another tremendous benefit you could experience with EFT. Basically, however, if you aren’t attracting success, it isn’t because you aren’t attracting; it’s because you are attracting other conditions that you are calling something other than success – even though you have managed to successfully attract your current experience. EFT can help you attract different things by helping you think and feel differently about the things you attract.
