You've read all the books, watched the movie, plus countless of YouTube videos on the subject. You've created visualization charts and faithfully chanted affirmations in order to manifest what you want.

And you are right in the same place that you've been.

You aren't any closer to attracting what you want, in fact, you may even feel more discouraged than when you started, annoyed, frustrated and thwarted by the universe.

Is the Law of Attraction a pile of crap or is there a piece of the puzzle that you don't know about?

First, let me tell you that thousands of people are in the same boat as you. They've done the same steps and haven't gotten any results. You're in good company.

The truth is that there IS an important part of the Law of Attraction that is often skipped. However, the part I am going to tell you about is the part that causes the REAL attraction to take place. Stick with me here, I'll do my best to keep it simple so that you can start getting what you want very quickly!

The missing piece is your emotional state.

You can't out think a negative emotion. No amount of visualizing $10,000 is going to remove depression, low self esteem or a sense of feeling unloved.

It's the emotions that attract our results, not the pictures in our head.

Let me give you the classic example. A very poor man wins the lottery. He wins millions upon millions. Within less than 2 years, the money has been completely blown.

Why?

His circumstances changed, but his emotional state did not. He attracted the same results that he has always attracted. His emotions remained the same, therefore, ultimately, he continues to attract the same thing.

Women typically leave one abusive relationship and replace it with another one. Different face, same situation and same emotions.

If you don't change your emotional state you cannot attract something different. Or if you do, it won't be permanent.

Circumstances do not alter your core emotional state, either. All too often, people think that, "If only I had..then I'd be happy!" This belief keeps them a prisoner in their own bodies. Things can't give you an emotion, the emotion comes from within.

Now that we are clear on this point, where do you go from here?

The first step is to be honest about what you REALLY feel. This isn't always easy. We'd like to tell ourselves that we feel deserving, happy, content and that we believe in ourselves, but do you really?

Let's say that you want to use the Law of Attraction to attract $10,000 into your life.

First analyze how you feel about that, and then go deeper. Initially, you may feel excited, but pay attention to any tiny voice inside of your head that says 'That would be nice, BUT."

That BUT is what is blocking you.

But what? But good things always happen to other people? You always miss out? You never get what you want? Be honest and find out how you really feel.

Acknowledging your true feeling is the first step, but it doesn't stop there. You'll now need to replace that negative emotion with one that supports what you want to attract.

How do you go about that?

Well, that will be considered in my next article!
