Everyday millions of Americans are bombarded with radio ads and television commercials that sell sexual enhancement products. We spend countless of hours channel surfing only to find some c list level celebrities pushing a miracle pill that makes empty promises to frustrated men who are looking for a solution to increases their libido. One dietary supplement that has stood the test of time are Yohimbe Supplements. Yohimbine is a psychoactive drug with stimulant and aphrodisiac effects. This herbal extract is used over the counter as well as a prescription medication for the treatment of sexual dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction, often called “impotence,” is the repeated inability to get an erection firm enough to keep an erection. ED can occur at any age, but most men over the age of 65 experience some kind of impotency.

Here are a few physical causes of erectile dysfunction:
Alcohol and tobacco use
Fatigue
Brain or spinal cord injuries
Liver or kidney failure
Multiple sclerosis
Parkinson’s disease
Radiation therapy
Stroke
A popular method for ED treatment is the use of drugs like Viagra, Cialis, and Levetra. These drugs are extremely popular with men who suffer from this unwanted condition. The FDA has approved these three drugs for to treat impotence. All three of these drugs work by increasing the blood flow to the penis so that when a man is stimulated, he gets an erection. Levetra and Viagra work similar in that they both take around 30 minutes to kick in and can last from 4-6 hours. So far so good except that these wonder drugs do come with some possible problems. Side effects are not common but they can occur.

Side effects can include:
Headache
Heartbu
or upset stomach
Nasal congestion
Flushing
Back pain
Just like Viagra, yohimbe bark extract works to help with erectile dysfunction. Yohimbe Supplements increases blood flow and nerve impulses to the penis or vagina. It can also counteract the sexual side effects of certain medications used for depression. A dosage of 30 mg a day of yohimbine per four weeks has helped produce desired results. Yohimbe is also a fat fighting herb as well. Yohimbe is an alpha2-andrenergic receptor antagonist.
