Yes, it is true, ask and it will be given. The trouble though is this: Most of us do not know how to ask correctly.
Let me explain why this is so. Your mind is a wonderful tool. It will get you everything you want if you use it correctly. The reason why most of us have trouble achieving our goals is to do with our conditioning which functions predominantly on auto pilot. Most of us operate within a very small field of our conscious awareness. The main decisions are made without your conscious knowledge by your subconscious mind.
As a result most of us sometimes get what we want and at other times we don't get what we want. The entire process is rather hit and miss. Affirmations are good, but they will not help you with the achievement of your goals when your subconscious mind has programs running which are in direct conflict with your goals.
Conflicts between your conscious desires and your subconscious mind stem from unresolved early life trauma but you will not be aware of this, because you have learned to use a number of coping mechanisms which allow you to lead your life in seeming blissful ignorance. This is fine until the day of reckoning comes and you realise that you are not getting what you want out of life.
At this point you will have to make a decision: You either carry on as you are or you take control of the situation and that means that you will have to find ways to increase your cognitive awareness. There are many ways in which you can do this, but I have learned through experience that by far the best and simplest way to get your subconscious mind to co-operate with your conscious desires is to ask specific questions which will bring you closer to the resolution of your problems and thus help you to achieve your goals faster.
This wonderful method is actually very simple to put into practice once you have created the template for asking the right questions correctly. Research has shown that just one minute of focusing on a particular object or subject produces new neural pathways which will lead you to your goals.
Contrary to common belief it is not the length but the intensity of the focus that gets you results. Asking questions is a powerful focusing tool. When asking questions make sure that you are very specific. Beware of ambiguity. It is better to ask: "How can I best make $ 1000.00 this week", rather than asking: "Can I make $ 1000.00 in a week or should I allow more time?"
Asking question is a very handy tool in all life situations, be it at work, or when you are looking for the answer to a personal problem.
When you concentrate on the questions just before you are going to sleep your mind will go to work for you during your sleep. You will often find that the answer will pop into your head the following day, seemingly from nowhere.
During sleep your conscious mind is at rest and the unlimited powers of the subconscious mind can go to work. We have been trained to think in a logical, linear fashion, but this way of thinking often stands in the way of your goals. If you want to get quick answers to your challenges you have to learn to get your logical mind out of the way. Do not think how the solution will come about and don't worry you how exactly you are going to achieve a particular goal.
Your subconscious mind is the bridge to your higher self and can work in ways you could not possibly fathom out. Whenever you insist on working out precisely how to go about the solution of a problem you are slowing down the process of manifestation. Therefore, just ask your question, several times and then relax about it and trust that the answers will come to you in due course.

WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT KUDALINI ENERGY BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK
I define Kudalini Energy as that life force energy associated with the chakra centers. It is that life force energy that begins the moment we take our first breath and according to Eastern philosophy lies coiled at the root chakra (base of the spine) until uncoiled). It is the energy from creator source moving through your chakra centers downward to the creative source in Mother Earth and back up again to the creator source. It is my opinion that we, as humans, work with the kudalini energy every day but for many of us, we are not aware of it.

Your Choice Matters!
Several years ago I found myself totally absorbed by the reading of “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl” (Doubleday and Company, 1952). This last week, my son Hansel had to read the book for his English class. We talked about the book together and my afterthoughts gave birth to ...

Coping With the Now
COPING WITH THE NOW DIANA MOORE Does it seem like you are under more stress than usual? Does it seem like time is speeding up, leaving you with less hours in a day to accomplish the things you need to do? If you answered “yes,” you are not alone. I myself feel like I am living with one foot in the fourth dimension, one foot in the fifth dimension and under the umbrella of Satu and sometimes Pluto. Now, what does all of this mean? The word “dimension” means concept or aspect. At one time, the concept of the planet was that the earth was flat.
