When it comes to turning the images you’ve captured with your camera into photo prints, the process of photo printing has been revolutionised by the advent of digital photography. Whereas once, film had to be physically developed by experts, the whole process is now simple enough to take into your own hands.

Before almost all photography became digital in nature, the process that was involved in photo developing was extremely complicated, somewhat long winded and could be very expensive. This was, in main part, down to the fact that the images captured by the camera were held on a strip of celluloid film, and it was this film which had to be taken out and turned into photographs.
