There you are, sitting on your awesome arse, waiting for a shot of powerful inspiration.

There you are, with so much to say and yet you hold back because you are worried it will not be great enough!

There you are, wishing, waiting, hoping that whatever you do finally come out with, will be the best thing since sliced bread…

And in the time, it took you to try to be great, I have chu ed out another 50000 so-so words that impacted someone’s life and I am on to the next thing.

STOP TRYING TO BE GREAT!

You are great already so simply Be you!

You are so caught up in thinking and worrying about what others have to say about you…

You are so caught up in trying to anticipate what they might say when you release a certain piece of work…

You are so conce ed that everyone on the planet will not like you and so you hold back when you could be serving people, you could be changing lives, you could be creating a masterpiece but you will never know because you never did it as you waited and hoped for your great work to become obvious…

And so you never did anything that could be considered great because well, you never DID ANYTHING!

You thought a lot about it though…

Maybe even got as far as mapping it out…

But then, nothing.

Come on now, so much potential trapped behind a wall of fear! When will you let loose and allow the real you out?

When will you become the champion you see in your mind’s eye?

When will you realise that you will probably fail more times than you win?

When will you realise that it really does not matter?

When will you realise that the main thing is simply to be relentless and do the work you want to do and get it in front of as many people as possible? Not for the accolades but simply because you must and you just might be able to serve someone.

You are not really a great judge of what is great.

And frankly, people are very fickle about greatness as well!

What is great to one person is mediocre to another…

What is great to a lot of people today is simply nonsensical tomorrow…

So really, why do you care?

Realise this, you are simply a vehicle of potential greatness.

But if you never let anything out of you for fear of failing then you remain a vehicle with everything stored up within you but nothing ever released.

Don’t you feel constipated yet?

Yes, I get it, you are not sure what to do?

But I don’t believe you!

You do know what to do, you are simply too scared to hear it and then to do it.

You are allowing the fear to silence the voice of wisdom within.

You are allowing fear to determine what you do next and you are telling yourself that you cannot do something when you are not sure what to do.

Yes, honey, you do know what to do.

The question is “Will you do it?”

Will you share your work with the world?

Will you simply invite them to experience what you have?

Will you stop waiting to do something incredibly significant?

Will you simply just DO SOMETHING?!

Greatness exists within you.

But until you release it, no one will ever know!

And more importantly, YOU will never know!!!!

So, please, get the heck out of your own way, stop trying so hard to be great…

And fucking do something great by simply DOING SOMETHING!
