Living in Faith and Gratitude (from Charles Price)

Here are my notes from Charles Price (Living Truth Ministry 10th April 2010) Web site: www.livingtruth.ca

The language of faith is THANKS - acknowledging our dependance on God (it's a relationship of love and dependancy). Book 'Experiencing God ' by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. With Faith in the Farther, Jesus could do anything... and we're even more dependant on Him (working in and through us). God is at work around you. He invites you to work WITH Him.

My “little” comment (I see God and Jesus as “co-workers/co-drivers” with me each step of the way along the amazing jou
ey of life) *

Peter preached the humanity of Christ. He exhibited true humanity. God working in the Son. Jesus working in us and THROUGH us.

"Jesus was never less than God, but he never lived as more than a man." - Charles Price

" If you love God, you can live as you please." - St Augustine

John 15, 17:20-21

His desires are our desires His motivations are our motivations Then His will becomes our experience.

I'm in my Father. Union with Christ enables us to function efficiently. The key is giving THANKS. You are experiencing your dependency on God. Put faith in God and allow Him to work in YOU. Say: "My agenda today is YOURS." TRUST and OBEY! Say 'Yes' to Him! YOU (God) are the initiator of everything. "The Son" can do no nothing without the Father."

Faith is trust in an object - which does things for you (This makes you less conscious in the exercize of your faith).

We all need a focus for faith, on which to "hang" it (and Jesus is that focus for my faith).

Acts 2:22.

We don't become clones. Jesus uses our unique personalities and gifts. He is the Source.

Paul: "Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit."

We are His workshop expressing himself. Allow Him to fill us with Himself. I place my trust in YOU.

Christ chose US, the 'little ordiniary (what’s that?) people' to go out and change the world... for the better. He doesn't have a Plan B. It's up to US to implement His Plan A, being the hands, ears and eyes of Christ to help heal a hurting world...today
"Lord,
Use my 'little' life as a vehicle for Your endless possibilities. Give me dreams to broaden my horizons... and help me to reach out for all you have in store for me."

"Our prayers are answered not when we are given what we want; but when we are challenged to be what (all that) we can become." - Morris Adler

PS
“When (or is it perhaps if??) you arrive in a place (or rather state ) known as heaven, let faith and love be the wings of the chariot that carried you there.”
