The way we sit, stand or walk affects our mind and therefore our results. Likewise, the way we feel affects our posture and movements.

“There is an inner and an outer side to everything,” as Thomas Troward said.
Your Posture and Your Mood?
Think about a happy and successful moment, a moment you were at your best. How did you sit and stand? Remember your smile, the excitement in your eyes visible to everyone. Now you can recreate that inner feeling, being at your best, by the way you hold yourself, move and smile.

Interestingly, various studies have shown that posture and movements positively or negatively affect our mind, our brain chemistry and body physiology.

A power pose of shoulders back, sitting and standing straight, eye contact and deep breathing decreases the stress hormone cortisol. As mentioned above, looking up and smiling releases serotonin.

It’s that simple, change your physical posture to improve your mood, feel more confident and powerful, and all of this positively affects your health.
How Others See Your
Our posture as part of our non-verbal communication is a powerful tool and so is eye contact. Establishing eye contact conveys to others that you are a trustworthy person.

Many studies show that others perceive how confident you are based on your posture, movements and eye contact.
Confident people are more likely to get promoted, recruited into key positions, able to attract customers and the dream relationship. In general, right or wrong, people believe we are capable when we are confident. Therefore,

Good Posture = Confidence = Success

Mirroring Authorityr
Our posture might change in front of a person of authority, a celebrity, a board member, a boss and even our parents. When you are in front of a person, you perceive more power than you have, mirror the person’s posture and you can get at their level, feel equal to him / her.
My Daily Success Challenge for You for the Month of June: - Look up and smile
- Sit and stand straight, focus on shoulders back to allow your head to rest as an extension of your spine
- Breath deeply and slowly
- Establish eye contact
- Mirror powerful people

MOTIVATION MOMENT:
“To become more successful, don’t change who you are, become more of who you are.” ~ Sally Hogshead
