Looking For An Easy Way To Stop Smoking? Some Tips!
Written by Thom Richards
Attitudes toward smoking have changed dramatically over the past couple of years. Most cigarette smokers, or any kind of smoker is aware of this, and are continuously looking for an easy way to stop smoking.
Smoking is thinning out and rapidly becoming a lonely minority. It is becoming more apparent than ever that they know their habit is harming more people than just themselves, and largely due to passive smoke.
It is very rare for someone to have the will power just to quit in one stroke “cold turkey”.
The success rate is only about three percent. It is not an easy way to stop smoking.
One of the most effective ways to help you to stop smoking is to write down all the reasons you shouldn’t be smoking, and all the resulting benefits. On the other hand, you would be really hard-pressed to write down the reasons you should be smoking. Look for the easy way to stop smoking.
Put all those written list in a conspicuous place. On the wall, in your pocket or purse, but place in an area where you know you are going to see and read the list every day.
You will be amazed to see that there are so many easy ways to stop smoking. Throw away all cigarettes that are now handy to you, including lighters, matches and ash-trays.
Make sure that you drink lots of water, fruit juices and herbal teas. Watch coffee. Coffee and cigarettes go well together. Keep yourself busy. Get involved in household chores, hobbies…even watching television, anything to keep your mind of the cigarettes.
When you have that urge to smoke hits, take deep breaths and hold for a few seconds. There is a particular posture in yoga called Pranayama (Art Of Yoga Breathing) that helps all smokers discover an easy way to stop smoking.
If you diligently follow the above routines, you will begin to feel better, and look better by the day. You will be surprised how simple it was to do something that you thought was insurmountable. Yes, there is an easy way to stop smoking. But, take it one day at a time by taking it easy.
