In a bubbling stream,
And a lonely wind,
That whispers
Through an endless night.nn*************************
In the crying of a baby,
And its anxious mother,
That whispers
'Till it's light.nn*************************
At the end of a rainbow,
And the start of the journey.
And the end of a lifetime,
With the last breath of a one and only.nn*************************
When I notice a leaf,
All brown and fallen down,
And others in its stead,
Budding green all 'round.nn*************************
Below a bridge,
Where homeless sleep,
And somewhere below my pride,
Where my heart cares deep.nn*************************
Inside a movie reel,
All but run down,
And a life still spinning quickly,
But now almost gone.nn*************************
Behind the mask of self-righteousness,
Where ignorance remains,
And behind that wall of fear,
Where unconditional love still reigns.nn*************************
While I am asleep,
And all is quiet and immense,
And then when I am dreaming,
The dreams of innocence.nn*************************
By the side of the road,
Where beggar's eyes look down,
And all who pass their way,
Fail to see their crowns.nn*************************
As I toil in my fields of dreams,
And pray for better days.
And long for my release,
In an unrelenting haze.nn*************************
On a bridge at night,
And a moon in flight,
With a sky spewing diamonds,
And all around such light.nn*************************
Along a trail,
A mountain track,
Where we see anew,
And never go back,nn*************************
Until my breath is gone,
And the world no longer spins,
And when I know for sure,
There's no such thing as sins.nn*************************
In front of every door,
Before the bell is rung,
And everything we do,
And every song that's sung.nn*************************
Around each care,
That ripples through our lives,
And every friend and foe alike,
And every love and strife.nn*************************
Where no one else dare tread,
The land is far too strange.
Yet in my heart I know,
This is where I change.nn*************************
Above the end,
As far as it can go,
And then a little further,
Where no one ever knows.nn*************************
And then beyond the boundaries,
Of everything there is,
For God's face is found there,
And yours is simply His.n n
