Did you know your subconscious doesn't know the difference between what is real and what is imagined? It only reacts to the beliefs, suggestions and visuals that you feed it. What you say out of your mouth and what you believe in your heart, your subconscious will go to work to make it come to pass.

One of the keys to losing weight is having the right mindset. To get yourself in the right mindset...you must begin by visualizing how you want your body to look.

The wrong mindset can actually sabotage your weight loss efforts. You can be setting yourself up for failure right out of the gate...if you can't visualize yourself at your goal weight.

To be successful at losing weight...it has to be more than a "wish". Wishing is not visualizing. You can't say out of one-side of your mouth, "I'll never lose weight"...and out of the other side of your mouth say "I wish to be thin". Your "wish" will not negate or override your "I'll never lose weight" belief.

If something is within your control (losing weight is within your control)...and if it is truly possible (losing weight is possible)...and if it is something you truly want (I'm sure you desperately want to lose weight)... you'll have a much higher probability of achieving it when you get a definite picture of it in your mind.

You need to start deleting the wrong visuals and vocabulary from your life. Replace the negative thoughts and visions of yourself with thoughts and visions of yourself with a thin, toned, tight and sexy body. Start visualizing yourself happy and enjoying life again!

When you get a picture in your mind of your "dream body", your subconscious switches gears and begins to have you act in ways that will take you in that direction. You'll notice that your willpower goes to a whole new level...and you'll be much more ready to adhere to a weight loss program and/or fitness regime. Which means you'll find that losing weight will be much easier and quicker.

Visualization isn't a one-time thing. It is important to that you take a few moments in a quiet place every day (mornings and evenings are best) to really make a conscious effort to picture how you will look and feel at your ideal weight.

You also need to reaffirm your new image to yourself as you go about your daily activities. Create affirmations that you can say to yourself throughout the day and repeat them often, always in the present tense ("I am happy, thin and sexy", not "I will be ...").

Once you begin believing it is possible to lose weight, you'll be ready to find a weight loss plan that can make that vision a reality.
