High blood pressure and hypertension is an issue that affects millions of people across the country. For those that have high blood pressure, the thought of taking medication for the rest of their lives can be an intimidating thought. Fortunately, there are five products that you can take that could help you to naturally reduce your blood pressure without taking medications that come with side effects.
Room Temperature
Keeping your space too cold can cause a rise in blood pressure. This is due to constriction of blood vessels.
Honey
One of our favorite foods can also help to reduce blood pressure. Honey is a sweet treat that effectively dilates blood vessels. While you can add honey to anything, you should try to consume it with warm water first thing in the morning to get the full effect. You should then wait at least 30 minutes before eating anything else. 1 teaspoon of honey is all that is needed to get effects. People with diabetes or hypoglycemia should NOT use this.
Watermelon Seeds
While most people end up picking out the seeds, watermelon seeds can actually be beneficial for you. Watermelon seeds contain a product called cucurbocitrin, which also helps to dilate blood vessels and reduce pressure. Eating seeds every day can reduce your blood pressure symptoms.
Lemon Juice
When it comes to superfoods, lemon juice is often near the top of the list. While it has other health benefits as well, lemon juice can also help to reduce hypertension. This citrus juice works to keep your blood vessels elastic, which can improve blood flow and prevent too much pressure from occurring.
Bananas
Eating this tropical fruit has also been shown to provide a lot of health benefits, particularly for your heart. Bananas are full of amazing vitamins including magnesium, potassium, Vitamin D, and calcium. All of these elements can help to reduce blood pressure. At the same time, eating bananas is also shown to help reduce stress.
Celery
While celery has been a popular health food snack for a long time, it also can be good for your heart and blood pressure. Celery is believed to reduce the pressure on the heart muscle and improve blood flow. Furthermore, celery is full of vitamins, amino acids, and essential oils, each of which are good for your heart. Incorporating this into your diet on a daily basis could soon prove to be great for your heart and overall physical health. Nutritional deficiencies can cause hypertension, especially mineral deficiencies. A tissue mineral analysis is a great way to find out what is going on in your case. Many vitamins and herbals can lower blood pressure naturally as well as dietary changes, exercise and stress reduction. Chinese medicines are also very effective in lowering blood pressure to safe levels without the risk of prescriptions. Please schedule an appointment at 847-577-4455 to learn more! Made in the Shade
Last year, my wife and I moved to Boise, Idaho, also known as the city of trees. The name Boise comes from the French word boisé, which means "wooded" or "forest-covered", and compared to the desert landscape to the south and west, the name Boise is very appropriate. A few days ago, on a hot, ...
