Famous for its Nawabi culture and traditional values, the city of Lucknow is gradually wearing a look of modern city with its swank commercial properties, sprawling shopping malls, and modern residential real estate. Not just the city’s prime commercial and residential locations, the suburban locations of Lucknow, especially Indira Nagar and Gomti Nagar are undergoing intense construction activities. India’s leading real estate developers like Parsvnath, Eldeco and Omaxe have been ambitiously building their residential properties in these areas, and of course here we cannot ignore Sahara. This Lucknow-based corporate should be given the credit of taking initiatives that have changed the face of real estate in the city. After gifting a slew of successful properties to the city like Sahara Ganj, the group is coming up with two mega residential projects--Sahara Estate and Sahara Grace, in Janakipuram, which is mainly a higher and middle income residential location. Also, Sahara is coming up with ‘Sahara City Homes’ spread in 175 acres of land on Hardoi Road. In fact, these township projects are creating buzz in the residential real estate sector of Lucknow today, and it is no more about small size projects. The size of the projects is exceeding all borders. Take for instance the Eldeco Town, which would add thousands of residential units to Lucknow, with its properties spread in more than 200 acres, on Sitapur Road. What is more encouraging is that industry veterans confirm that these projects are enjoying good response from both investors and end-users. Over this, Afzal Kazmi of City Properties elaborated, saying, “Lucknow people are becoming quality conscious, especially the introduction of swank shopping malls have led to consumerism boom in the city. Entry of big corporate companies in Lucknow has also been resulting to enhancing income levels and it’s ultimately the Luckow Real Estate that would bear the fruits.” Good going, in deed.
