Make Your Vacation Spot Your Home

Imagine your favorite destination in the world. Imagine it isn't your vacation spot; quite to the contrary, you've turned it around and made it your home.

How can you do this? Well, if you've got an Internet business, you can do it easily. And it gets even better than this. When you make it your home and your residence, do you realize that every trip you take from there to do business can be tax deductible?

Take your choice of countries. I do live, as most of you know, in the United States of America…well, that's where my second home is. My first home is in Panamá, which is my ultimate dream destination.

Now, I'm not here to promote Panamá—though if you want to talk about that I'll be glad to, because I've got a lot of good reasons for living there—but that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about your dream destination. And then you've got the place where you do most of your business, which in my case is the United States. And then you've got the Internet, which means it really doesn't matter where you are, and it's pretty easy to slide away and disappear for five days, 10 days, 14 days at a time.

And then you fly back, and that's tax deductible. See, when you're flying to and from your residence to do work, according to the U.S. Tax Law—and again, I don't know where you are—but that's tax deductible, as I understand it.

And I'll tell you what: it's not real important wherever you want to live, but the idea is that you can set yourself up to be living the life that you dream of when you have an Internet business. Of course, nobody can eliminate taxes, and anybody who tells you that you can is a con and a thief. But you can minimize your taxes with tax planning. That's a no-brainer.

And I know in my case, and I can offer you the same—here's the whole story. When I want to travel to visit my wife and child, I travel, and I'm going back home. And when I need to travel and go out and do work in the exteriór, in other countries such as the United States, that's tax deductible, too.

There are certain options, and your professionals can tell you that. Hey, man, anywhere you travel when you're doing work, your lodging and your food is tax deductible—that's a no-brainer. All I'm saying is, think about it, dream about it. In today's modern world, it can be yours.

I am an example, and I'm not trying to say, again, that you'd like Panamá. You’ve got your own preferences. But I live in Panamá; I have a second house in the United States. I do most of my work in the United States, but my residence, my home, is in Panamá—and that gives me certain tax advantages that are enviable, to say the least.

This is a dangerous subject with the authorities… Don’t read me wrong… Get professional advice, of course, and do not ever break any law… That being said, I'm telling you that if you do it right, if you do it with your major component on the Internet, in today's day and time you have so many options it's not even funny.
