Being a constant observer in our world and people, I have found many interesting scenes, faces, expressions, and situations surrounding me daily. I observe all people from all walks of life and it always intrigues me that some are able to make a distinction themselves and step ahead of the pack in their chosen field.
In spite of events, people, or circumstances that could slow them down or stop them, why do some people still move ahead and not others? The difference, as I observe and believe, comes from whether or not they understand how they manage their mind is really about how they manage their lives.
Mind management is life management. And managing our lives involves three actions: Decision, Preparation and Action.
Decision simply means choosing or deciding that from now on and beyond you will do everything you can to be aware of every decision you are making including what to think and what not to think, how you want to spend your time or what will give you the highest value of your time daily.
Preparation means planning, making a blue print of what you are going to do based on the decision you have decided. Getting ready the tools necessary for a job to be executed.
Action simply means doing. And there is no better way and no other way to start doing aside from NOW. Start NOW.
Life always favors the DO-ers.
Only people who take action produce results. Only people who dare to get up and stop making varied excuses reap the rewards of a life full of satisfaction. Only by taking action can we truly discover how magnificent life is and its wonderful designs.
Knowing a thing and keeping it to oneself pays no one, even knowing something requires action to step out and share to someone before that knowledge can be of beneficial use. No one gets paid by sitting in the chair wishing and dreaming all the wonderful things that about to happen because of its new fabulous ideas. Only action creates result. The paycheck comes because you share, you tell, you get up, you plant, you make a move, you design, you draw, you talk, you consult, you sing, you drive, you operate, you repair, you invent, you study, you do the job. It boils down to this, that success is a verb and not a noun or pronoun or adjective. It is an action.
We should never be impressed with what someone knows. Because knowledge without application is as good as nothing and in the passing of time will just be blown by wind and totally forgotten. Knowing is never enough. Only be impressed by someone who takes action with what they know.
And it should be the same for each of us. Never be impressed with what you know. We know so much already. The information we want is just a google away. We know a lot. We are very smart people who have known so much. Be impressed only by what you DO with what you know.
