Have you made any mistakes in your lifetime? I know I have. But was I having fun at the time? Sometimes. Will I make those same mistakes again? No, but I will probably make other mistakes. That is the key, make mistakes but don't repeat them. In order to truly live a fulfilling and joyful life, it is necessary to take chances and try new experiences. Living life is not about not making mistakes, it is not about living in fear. Truly living is doing what makes you happy, brings you joy, fuels your passion. Of course, my personal philosophy also includes, not hurting other people if I can help it.
I don't regret any of my so-called mistakes. They were experiences that have shaped my personality and helped to make me into the person that I am now. Many of my mistakes have brought me such wonderful blessings that I would make those mistakes again and again just to receive those blessings. I have learned a lot about myself and others through all of my experiences, regardless of whether they were good or bad experiences.
I am grateful for those experiences and the people who were a part of them. So next time, you beat yourself up and give yourself a hard time for making mistakes, stop! You are learning, you are growing, we all are. Life is a journey with many twists and turns, but remember, you are always moving forward :)
