Money consciousness is not always about having a lot of cash; it is also about having the ability to attract wealth in the first place. Whether it’s about getting a raise in your salary or allowance, having a mindset that attracts prosperity can make things happen for you. Now, you don’t need to get a money tree for you to attract financial success; you simply need to increase your money consciousness. Read on to find out more. Step 1: Figure Out What You Want. It’s important that you really come to terms with what you want to happen, or what has the most weight to you. Unless you can come up with a specific answer, then you won’t be able to develop your money consciousness effectively. Everything starts with having a goal. If you haven’t decided on one already, then you need to catch up to the rest of the world. Step 2: No Amount Is Impossible. One thing that's hindering most people from achieving abundance and prosperity is their “impossible” mentality. It's time to let it go! If you want to come up with a million dollars, then don’t let your inner voice persuade you otherwise. Thoughts like “Oh, that’s too large a number” or “I can’t possibly earn that much” can only hurt you. If you’re going to dream anyway, dream big! In fact, it’s quite well-known that Jim Carrey once wrote himself a check for $10 million when he was still struggling as a comedian. Back then, even a million dollars probably seemed far out of reach for someone who hasn’t had a big break yet; but Carrey kept that check and now, he’s commanding at least $20 million per movie! Step 3: Ask The Right Questions. Money consciousness doesn’t always come naturally. However, seeing it in others leads us to follow in their footsteps. When Christopher Gardner - the person whose life was the basis for the movie Pursuit of Happyness - first saw the red Ferrari owned by an extremely well-dressed man, he didn’t ask the guy who he was. Instead, he asked him what he did for a living. The same thing applies to you. If you want to achieve your desired monetary goal, keep yourself from asking pointless questions and focus instead on queries that will bring you closer to it. Developing your money consciousness is vital if you want to rise to the top. While not everything is anchored on money, it is something that can help you build a better life for you and everyone you care about.
