You have heard me say it before, but here we go again:

The more money you make the more people you can help. It's true.

My mentor says that money is not the most important thing in the world, but it touches everything that is. Money is the great equalizer and it brings equality. I was never as clear about this as when I was in Africa. It allows you to be truly free and ultimate financial freedom allows you to help others be free. Most of you reading this know that our passions go beyond earning money, but let me make a bold statement here:

My passion is making money. I know I can turn that revenue or profit into opportunity. Education brings entrepreneurship, which brings equality. Every dollar I make lets me do something more, better, or bigger for myself and others and every ounce of that trickles up and down to play a role in the cycle of opportunity.

* There is no shame in making money.

* There is no shame in asking for money.

* There is no shame in being focused on money.

* There is no shame in making money important.

On occasio
I will get an email chastising me for being focused on profits and reminding me that my motto is, "help more people". As if helping more people and making money are separate. They are the most connected of any two actions. If you truly want to help more people you will want to make more money just as passionately. Here are some keys to making a big difference:

1) Ask for money: You gift is your gift because you are meant to share it and be rewarded, and those rewards are meant for your abundance and generosity to others.

2) Stop confusing giving back with giving it away. When you give your services away you don't help anyone. You lose the value and the opportunity to create revenue that you can use to contribute.

3) Let go of the shame. God did not intend for us to be broke or worry about money. Just look at the Universe... the blade of grass does not struggle to grow. The environment is abundant with air to breathe. Money worry is a choice. You always get what you need when you need it.

4) Make it a priority to make as much money as you absolutely can. And then be armed and ready to change your world and the world around you. I am motivated to educate girls. I am motivated to cultivate entrepreneurs. I am committed to bringing equality. It will take money, so I am fine with making more and making it a focus.

Money is the great equalizer. Wanna change the world? Change your bank account.

I’ll share with you that when I first started in business the image of a leader that I brought with me was an authority figure who has the power to hurt those that are following them. This was because I was so used to being around authority figures who were coming from a place of leading through fear (I came out of the very toxic public school system). I knew I didn’t want that in my business.

We all know that smiles are contagious. So are bad moods. Experts in the field of psychic energy say it's that energy – not the actual smile -- that connects you to the good mood of the other person. Many of my clients share that one of their biggest marketing challenges is actually connecting with enough prospects. They are doing all of this great work in their businesses, but not very many people know about their work; or at least not enough for the flow of business to be moving smoothly and easily. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. Sound familiar? There isn't one perfect way to consistently connect with prospects, but there are many ways that, when used collaboratively, will build you a nice stream of people who are interested in what you do.
