Get Rid of Back Pain Naturally with These 3 Herbsr
Americans spend billions of dollars every year looking for relief from back pain. It’s one of the most common reasons for doctor’s visits. And it’s easy to understand why.
An aching back can keep you awake at night… and keep you away from your favorite activities. It wrecks your concentration… your enjoyment of just about everything… and it’s frustrating beyond belief.
But you don’t have to suffer. And you don’t have to spend a fortune on expensive prescriptions with their nasty side effects. There are natural pain relievers proven to promote relief from nagging back pain.
Today, we’ll look at three herbs with outstanding records.
One of my favorite all-around pain relievers is capsaicin. Capsaicin occurs naturally in cayenne and other hot peppers. In fact, it’s the reason hot peppers feel hot.
But capsaicin has an unusual quality. When you absorb it through the skin, it drains your supply of substance P. This is a chemical that transmits pain signals through your nerves. As your stores of substance P dry up, so do your aches.
Capsaicin is effective, too. In an Austrian study, 82% of the people using capsaicin for back pain reported a noticeable drop in pain… or that their pain disappeared entirely.1
In another study, researchers tested a cream containing just .05% capsaicin. That’s a mere 1 part in 200. But even that tiny amount of capsaicin triggered significant relief. After 3 weeks, the volunteers’ average pain measured 49% lower.2
Although its effect is powerful, some people find that capsaicin can take a few days to really kick in. But our 2nd herb offers quick relief from back pain.
Around 400 B.C., the great Greek physician, Hippocrates, eased pain and fevers with the bark of a common tree. Ever since, white willow bark has been part of folk medicine.
Modern research shows white willow bark is as effective today as Hippocrates thought 2,500 years ago.
A medical team in Israel tested white willow bark against a placebo on 210 people with long-term back pain. The placebo group didn’t have much success, but the white willow group sure did. 39% of those taking 240 mg of white willow bark were pain-free in just 5 weeks. Not just feeling a little better… but pain-free.3
Another herb that has a good record against back pain is devil’s claw.
Devil’s claw performed very well in a 2001 German study. Researchers recruited 130 people suffering from back pain for at least 6 months. After 8 weeks, the volunteers had much lower levels of discomfort. Plus, they were able to move their backs more easily.4
In a more recent study, almost 10% of long-term sufferers taking devil’s claw extract reported feeling no back pain within just 6 weeks. And 42% reported at least 50% less pain.5
All three of these herbs work well. But you may find even more effective relief using them in combination with other herbs. For example, anti-inflammatory herbs – such as Boswellia – can boost their effectiveness by helping to ease the cause of your pain.

Pleasure vs. Pain
When I listen to a speaker, even if I get just one or two things from them, it’s a success. I don’t expect you to do everything I say, just take the things that work for you. Take a few nuggets and apply them to your life and you’ll start seeing dramatic results. Now the name of this article is Pleasure vs. Pain. If you think about it, there are really only two reasons why we do anything, either it is pleasurable or it is painful. If things cause pleasure, that’s what we tend to move toward. If it causes pain, we move away from it.
