Do something outrageouslynfun--whatever it takes! Happiness will ward off thenworst Emotional Eating blues!nn#2) Have a Nurture List:nnMake a list of all the ways you can nurture yourselfnBESIDES eating. It might be taking a bubble bath orngoing shopping at your favorite boutique. Anythingnthat you really enjoy. I call this my "backup list".nAll the things I can do BESIDES eating that are ways Incan practice MAJOR self-care. Put it up where you cannsee it. It's amazing what happens when you givenyourself options!nn#3)Practice PreventionnnStop emotional eating before it starts! How many timesndo we start to feel a little blue, or bored, slightlynupset and then continue on without addressing it?nBefore we know it, we're in a full-scale storm and it'snREALLY hard to fight off that call of the brownies ornthe potato chips. Be vigilant. If something bothersnyou, address it right away (even if it's only withinnyour head!) and deal with it. nnYou CAN prevent a lot of emotional eating if you practice these tips! (And of course that means weight loss for you!)
