- Development of hump due to loss of density of the bones and an incorrect posture
- Regular exercises, especially, the weight bearing exercises are important to boost the bone health. Some popular exercises may be jogging, walking, or swimming are beneficial exercises.
- Intake of nutrition rich diet especially rich in calcium, vitami K and vitami D is essential to maintain the bone density and health for long. Calcium sources are soy products, yogurt, milk, and green vegetables. Broccoli, spinach and sprouts are rich sources of vitami K. Eating egg yolk, salt-water fish and drink fortified beverages to get adequate vitami D.
- Stop drinking alcohol or atleast reduce its intake to keep the bones healthy. Also stop smoking as it may affect the bones adversely and also the overall health.
