This is one of the quotes that I live by, because it's soooooo true. I haven't had so much fun in a long time. Granted, I've always loved what I do as a motivational speaker and coach, but to truly see everything I'm passionate about be infused into one aspect of my business, just sends me soaring! The birth of The Own Your Power Radio Network has definitely allowed me to share my vision on a world-wide scale.

I get to empower, inspire, coach, share, laugh, meet interesting people and listen to very cool music all at the same time. It's so important to love what you do. Some folks are so used to working a "J-O-B" that they have either forgotten what their passions are or worse....never really developed any. Don't worry if that's you, you are not alone.

Here's a Quick Tip to Get The Creative Juices Flowing: Carve out some quiet time alone, grab a journal, light some insense or a candle and get in the groove with you. Make a list of at least 20 passionate things you love to do or wish you had time to do. Example: Love to read, write children's books, paint, travel, connecting others, speaking, helping others, designing, mentor teens, support domestic violence, run, health and wellness, training, gardening, etc. Before you say.. "Oh, please, Simone, it will never work" or it's impossible. What's the point? I'll never have time or money!" Please take this duck tape I'm passing you for your mouth...lol And just try it.

Grab a pen and paper. I'll wait. Start it as a hobby or volunteer somewhere. Baby steps is what I always say! You'll be surprised on how clear you;ll get on how you want to spend your time when you put your mind to it. You'll see things shift right before your very eyes to make things happen. Connections you forgot about will miraculous pop in your head or may even call you!

Doors you thought were shut will begin to creak open. Set the intention to at least get started and open your mind to dream again. However, make an action plan after. You have to come out of the clouds eventually and get to the real work! If you get stuck in the process, find a friend or a coach to help you get clear and then look for opportunities that allow you to work with one or a few of your passions. I'm totally in love with the next generation of the Own Your Power brand, my trademark, my baby! It's truly my passion and I'm so happy to have you along for the ride!
